Sadly, after over 10yrs at this school its gotten alarmingly bad. We have experienced bullying not addressed due to the bullys financial contributions poor teacher communication. Poor test scores without notification or action from the teacher/admin. The newest principal is awful- doesnt communicate critical events or address bullies. One of the smallest Catholic schools and spending $$ on an additional principal? Its unclear what the head principal does. Overall, my childrens academics and grades have declined with little to no action from the school. Do not expect accommodations if your child has any additional or special needs. There are still some wonderful teachers and families at this school, but its certainly headed in the wrong direction. The continued loss of students and staff is a good indicator.

I love this school! The teachers and staff care about every student in every way-emotionally, educationally, and spiritually. This really is for a family environment with individual attention to each and every student. I have no doubt that students receive a quality education and are supported emotionally.

Overall a great community, I have two kids attending and they have had a great experience academically, character building, faith formation and have great friends. I have seen some frustration with the leadership as it seems to take a long time to get certain things moving. A lot of involvement from the parents, which is always great.

Sometimes I feel like character may be emphasized more than academics but I think in the big picture that may be the determining factor in success

To fit in you must be a financial contributor and there is a lot of behind the scenes politics. If you aren't part of the "click" of parents in the schools community and your kid has issues with a bully and that parent is part of that "click" of parents nothing will be done. Pulled both children because it had gotten physical and the principal, teacher and parent turned it around on my child as if they deserved it and that my child was the problem. Meanwhile, my kid is having panick attacks at home before school because they aren't wanting to go to school. Yeah, take your kid somewhere else.

You must be a financial contributor and fit into the school's "community." There are many politics behind the scenes. The organization is awful, the secretary will treat you poorly-although many parents dislike her, she remains employed. Take your children to a better school that treats families better and hires appropriate staff members.

Sacred Heart School is the best. The teachers and staff are nice and welcoming. You will meet not only wonderful staff, but wonderful kids. You will get more involved in after school programs, like; Drama Club, Art Free Wednesday, and many more. I am proud to be a student at Sacred Heart School!
