Legacy Christian Academy

This was my son's first year at Legacy Christian Academy. After searching the area and understanding the curriculum that different schools teach, I'm impressed.
This school has a biblical way of learning. The faculty is loving and devoted.
There is such an impact through learning in an environment that not only challenges you, but genuinely cares that you succeed.

My experience, as well as my child's, was terrible. The education is far below standards and the social environment is toxic.

The principal is awful. She is more concerned about making sure she has power than about her students.

School handbook states that students diagnosed with learning differences will be asked to leave.

Bullying is a huge problem that is ignored, and Anita (the principal) is the worst bully of all.

Great quality education! They still have old school educating system just a way it should be!

My 6th grader has attended 5 public elementary schools (with above average 6/7 ratings) prior to attending Legacy, across state lines, and this school outperforms any other by far. We planned on sending them to public school, but we found our local school seemed to be more of corrupt bureaucracy, with nothing but problems that they blame on the parents, rather than a learning institution and we had to do much of the teaching at home anyway. Our younger child benefited greatly at Legazy by attending grade K early and it is amazing how they help even the youngest preK students learn to read.. I cannot say enough good things about the principal and teachers at this school. All schools need to follow their model in my opinion! I rated parent involvement low but not because of lack of opportunity to volunteer. They attempt to involve and welcome the parents, but many would help but are working much of the time I believe.
