Started out with an OK experience for Pre-K and K, 1st has been a mess. There is a huge divide between students because of race and income, which has led to constant bullying and racial issues that are not addressed appropriately or effectively. Teachers talk down to the students and disregard the parents' and their concerns. Little to no communication from the teachers and administration. Don't bother calling to talk to the front desk, she will be rude and short with you like it's an inconvenience to be calling her. On more than one occasion I have witnessed teachers being rude, yelling at students, or just ignoring the students and allowing a free-for all environment, which leads to the numerous injuries and behavioral issues. Teachers will not put the education of the student as a priority and don't follow up with parents enough.

Other than having way too many out of school days, making it difficult to manage as working parents. We love this school and its staff.

The district has a bullying policy that is effectively enforced. There are very few cases of bullying as we encourage our students to treat others kindly.

They have the most caring and compassionate teachers around. I have never seen a school where every teacher is so compassionate, cares about the students and gets involved in so many activities.

The teachers are amazing. My son looks forward to school and doing a great job. The principal is out front greeting kids every morning and seeing them off in the afternoon. Principal knows each child by name and she has all the kids racing to greet her.

Situation came up and thought it was handled fair and it was my child causing the problem!!

My son attended Central for kindergarten and 1st grade and I was very please with the school. The staff is very friendly and they truly have the children's best interest at heart. I absolutely love the different programs that they offer such as music, art, computers, and gym. It is a rarity to enjoy all these programs within one elementary school in Ofallon b/c the others within district 90 are constantly facing cuts when it comes down to these programs. This school always has something going on after school hours where the families can be involved within their children school. My son no longer attends here as he is in the second grade this year and now attends Estelle Kampmeyer, and I can honestly say that miss Central and so does he. One positive thing I can say about his transition from district 104 to district 90 in O'Fallon is that he is learning a lot more in district 90 than he was at Central district 104. With these two school being in the same town no roughly 10 minutes apart in distance, I can't understand for the life of me why the curriculum is so different from one school to the next. My son went from being a A &B student at Central to making C's and D's,
