My son attended Arden Cahill Academy for the 8th grade, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very first day, it was clear that this school is dedicated to fostering not only academic excellence but also a nurturing and supportive environment for its students.

The teachers at Arden Cahill Academy are remarkable. They genuinely care about their students' success, both inside and outside the classroom. My son always felt supported and encouraged, whether he was tackling challenging coursework or participating in extracurricular activities. The personalized attention he received made a significant difference in his confidence and academic performance.

The principal Mrs.Laura also deserve's high praise. She was very approachable, compassionate, and deeply committed to the well-being of my son. Any concerns we had were promptly addressed, and I always felt that my son's best interests were a top priority.

Overall, I cannot recommend Arden Cahill Academy highly enough. The dedication of the teachers and staff to their students' success and well-being is unparalleled. My son had a fantastic year, and we are incredibly grateful for the positive impact this school has had on his life.

My kids have attended Arden Cahill since they were newborns, and now my oldest is entering Kindergarten. The teachers are engaging and supportive, and my child is excited about school and eager to learn. My youngest is still in the infant care center, and I do know they are struggling with staffing, but which organization isn't having a staffing issue? I understand there are challenges, but my child is content and always so happy to see the daycare staff. I'm excited to see what the new school year has to bring.

My child went to the high school for two years and we have now taken her out. She has some mental health problems and the teachers, while they were nice, were not teaching her, so she felt like she was "no good". She was an honor roll student at the school she previously attended, but has failed two different times here. I am sorry I wasted my money. The school might be better when they get larger, but right now there are too few students in high school to hire enough qualified teachers.

DO NOT send your child here. My husband and I sent our 1 year old here starting in Oct 2022 and pulled him out in January 2023. Everything was sunshine and rainbows when we went on the tour and it was a lot of promises made of how things would be. Every day I feel guilty for sending our son to this place. Jan 11th we got home and our son was pulling at his diaper when we got out the car, so I just assumed that the diaper was pinching him. We got inside and I opened his diaper up to fix it and/or change him and what I saw was mind boggling. He had a severe diaper rash, which he didn’t have when we dropped him off. He also had fecal matter in his creases which shows that they hadn’t been cleaning him properly all day. The rash was so bad that his pediatrician had to squeeze him in the next morning and prescribe him steroid creams. When we contacted the school about it there was no remorse and the tone in the email was very passive aggressive. It was nothing but excuses. I also expressed my concerns to them about the turnover rate of the workers dealing with these babies, the smell in the infant center and the dirty rug… I was told that the rugs are cleaned seasonally… a rug that toddlers are on everyday is cleaned SEASONALLY. And with everything happening the teachers were not updating the app like they were supposed to and when they did update it they were often times updating it with another African American boy mistaking him for our son. Save yourself the time, heartache and money.

My two year old was "dismissed" after a day! She wasn't given adequate enough time to acclimate or anything. For a school that claims to love and care for kids it's only those who are perfect. She's Two HER DANCE SCHOOL TEACHERS are better equip! She'll adjust and do well. Then they offered her speech when she's been TWICE through her pediatrician! If your child is perfect I give them a 5 but mines isn't if I could give a 0 star I would. Thinking of contacting one of my friends who is a disability attorney ... can't discriminate ...and only a fool represents themselves!


Anyways GO TO A SCHOOL THAT FOSTER ALL KIDS ARDEN CAHILL DOESN'T!!!

I have had 2 children attend this school for of 13 years. I have had a student that was very academic and a student with learning difficulties. Both of my children received what they needed and were pushed to their full potential. The school helped form who my girls are today. It is an experience that I am extremely happy and blessed to have had for our family. My daughter is prepared not only for high school but for life. She was challenged, stretched, and supported.

As an alumni with 2 kids currently enrolled here, I am very pleased and excited my kids can attend here. I have had some issues with my youngest getting bit, but they seem to take it very seriously when it happens and I am aware it is just a common part of development when they can't communicate for themselves. All of the teachers and childcare workers acknowledge my children when they see them and ask how they are doing, even when they are not in their care anymore.

This school is phenomenal! The curriculum and academics are accelerated and advanced which challenges the students to perform to the best of their ability. They are taught organization and responsibilty at a young age. There is also a huge emphasis on cultural arts such art, music, drama, speech and foreign language. There are also many extra-curricular activities and clubs available for all ages. My children are learning way above their age level and love to go to school, although it is challenging and requires lots of time and effort (homework, studying, projects, etc. ). I know many of the eighth graders who leave the school become top of their high school classes and are very prepared for high school. My children also began in the Infant Center, and I was very pleased with that program as well.

I am a student here, and I can say that I love it! The teachers are very nice and help you and the student couldn't be nicer! The only regret I have is not moving here earlier. HIGHLY recommend.

Excellent school! There are many activities to keep the children busy as well as the school offers a fine education! It may seem like a bit much with the homework at times but I would rather spend the tuition costs to know my child is safe, cared for as well as learning all that they can learn. The campus is beautiful and the teachers really show appreciation for the children and parents. I don't know what I will do when my kids graduate. I wouldn't recommend any of school but Arden Cahill.

Great school. My kids recently came back and love it and are thriving. Excellent extracurricular offerings like chess club, glee, swim, football, soccer, cross country, drama, golf etc. Also, a very living environment. Main complaint is that there is too much memorization vs project based learning. Also, the language program is very weak. Homework is also a bit much, but it helps learn time management etc. Overall, happy with the school and reasonable tuition vs other private schools in New Orleans.

I started my daughter here when she was less than a year old. I had minor complaints at first, such as the trash can being placed up against her crib and her being bitten (with bruises) twice within a week's time. However, the last and final straw with this school and everyone in it occurred shortly after my daughter's second birthday. When dropped her off in the morning I checked her bin to see if she needed any pull-ups. I saw that she was low so I went to my car to get more. I was out of the room for a couple of minutes. When I returned to the room I saw one of her teachers was hitting a child (younger than her) several times in the face telling him "no biting!" She pulled him by the arm to the timeout chair (which is when she saw me). I was beyond shocked. I got ALL my daughter's belongings and went to the office to complain and officially withdraw her. Ms. Betty seemed concerned about the incident and asked me to write a report or what I observed. She later called me back that day to ask if I could rewrite my complaint, saying "Did she HIT him or TAP his mouth to stop him from biting? Bc if she hit him,well,that would be grounds for termination." Just shows the culture of AC

This is an excellent School! My children have been there for many years and children from my extended family have children attending also. I feel comfortable having my children here, the Administration cares about the children in a personal way. I love the Theatre that they experience it seems to give all a sense of achievement no matter what their particular talent! Plays, Christmas Celebrations the opportunities are endless at this School!

Is a great school, with an extraordinary environment where kids can learn and play. I had a very good experience bringing my 3 year old, who could not speak English and within months he was able to establish a dialogue in both English and Spanish

I put my child in this school thinking particularly family atmosphere, since my husband travels often so my son misses him a lot, so his mood swings are as frequent as my husband travels, I talk to the teacher and she was very understanding and guided me in learning techniques and communication for children very restless

I go to this school, but i had some bad memories along with the good ones.I do have complaints, such as an unneccessary dress code for 5th grade and up = no clothes with words on them, it's not easy to find that, and THEY TELL YOU AT THE BIGINNING OF THE YEAR, my mom spend hundreds of dollars on clothes for the year but now they went to waste.And the childcare workers are so rude and mean. They are so mean, but when the parents show up they are so sweet!!! But i did learn a lot at this school. I'm going to Newman next year, you should check it out. Newman has five stars, i agree better than this.......

This school might look great from the outside but I can assure you there are nothing but problems from the inside. I've had 2 children at this school. In the beginning it was great until Mrs. Cahill's took over. She has changed everything and the quality of the education has gone downhill ever since. I took my youngest out in 3rd grade and have no regrets. The Cahill's base every decision on gossip amongst the teachers. They are not professional at all. It saddens me that Mrs. Cahill's children are ruining the reputation of what was once such an awesome place to learn.

Arden Cahill was a terrible place to work. I worked in the infant center and honestly hated going to work every day. The director is awful to her staff and is completely unwilling to hear and address any concerns of her employees. I loved my students and honestly hated leaving because I was worried who they would get stuck with as a teacher. The director thinks of the staff as glorified babysitters, which is exactly how they are treated. The Cahill's were always very helpful and nice to me, however they do not run the infant center and it is unfortunate that they don't. With the amount of tuition that is charged the infant center could be a wonderful place. However, I believe that as long as the current director is in charge that cannot happen.
