Arabi has to be one of the most absurd Elementary schools I ever came across. Between the front desk and actual teachers. Communication is by far the last thing on their to-do list. Putting my child here has to have been the worse decision I ever made. Parents are not allowed to partake in almost anything which is challenging to the single mothers or fathers who like to be a part of things their children are involved in. They always ask for handouts but when you ask to do something with your kid and for your kid its a problem. Front staff is so rude which you would think they would be friendly since they are the first face you see when you walk in, but that is NEVER the case. Teachers dont care to explain things assuming your supposed to just know things. They dont even call when your child has an accident or hurts themselves. I absolutely hate Arabi Elementary and cant wait for this school year to be over with.

This was my major problem with this school. My child is admittedly a more difficult child but they refused to work with I'm and just wanted him gone.

Principal has no idea how to handle small children or adults. Her people skills in general are disgusting.

The principal constantly belittled my 5-6 year old and refused to treat him like a young boy who needed extra help. Instead she saw a problem she had to get rid of.

Treated my son terrible. He went there from kindergarten to first grade, finally I sold my house and moved to a different school district to save my child from further pain and now they refuse to release his grades to the new elementary school, which has been a far better environment so far.

Arabi Elementary is the best elementary school in St Bernard Parish, I really feel like the my childs teacher really care about his sucess not only in her class, but once he leaves her. The school has lot of fun thing for the kids, and lot of after school programs. The principal Mrs Carolla is really great she even know each child by name...I really love Arabi and would not send my children anywhere else.

My daughter attends Arabi Elementary for the past 3 years (since it reopened). The school, teachers, principal, and assistant principal have shown exceptional service to those children. This school is the best. I actually hate seeing my child move on to middle school. Thanks for all of your dedication! Sheila parent of Maria 5th grade (2013)
