This school was genuinely the worst three years of my life. Every day, I’ve been bullied at this school, and nobody did anything about it. I reported this white kid for calling one of my friends the N-word multiple times, and the admins and principal specifically said if it’s repetitive, then it’s bullying. This boy had done nothing but bully kids all year, and when reported, nobody did anything. This school barely cares about smart kids unless they do sports or something to help the school. Other than that, the school did nothing but support bad kids because they were “ not treated right.” Every time I was at this school, I’ve done nothing but get bullied and harassed here. The teachers were good besides some teachers that shall not be named, but I loved my teachers. The principal was not supportive at all nor was she even a good person whatsoever. I disliked her heavily, and so did more than half of the school.

I highly recommend that if your child is autistic that you find a different school the school is far from understanding when it comes to autistic behaviors although the act as though they are knowledgeable but trust me camera's are a NEED AT THIS SCHOOL

Hammond Eastside Elementry Magnet. We are prior military and have had our children in schools all over the world. I am happiest with this school. My son has one of the best teachers ever. I could not ask for more. You can tell that his techer is actually there because he cares for the kids and he enjoys his job. That is something you don't find anymore.
