Homework is not out of the children's reach, it is created with their learning level in mind. My child feels confident and not frustrated.

The teacher that my child has this year has gone above and beyond to make my child comfortable and excited about learning. He has learned so much in the first two months, I am beyond impressed with his teacher and her approach to teaching.

My child has become much more independent, he had some regressions last year but has far exceeded his step backs.

My child has become more confident in himself, he is learning to become an individual and is excited about school. The faculty does so much to make each child feel special. They are not just numbers they are faces, I am very impressed with every aspect of the school this far.

My nefew attends this school as well and he does have ADHD. The teacher did not let that define him, she works with hims daily and understand that some days are harder than others.

I would rate this school a 10 out of 10. Adcedemicly and the over all character of the school has been amazing. Each person that I have come in contact with truly wants to be there and cares deeply for the children. Honestly I was worried about sending my son to such a large school being that he hard a rough year last year at a different school but I couldn't have made a better choice. My son is so happy and tells his teacher that he loves her on a regular basis. He has learned far more than my expectations and is eager to learn more. Homework is easy because he wants to do it, there is not fight in the morning to get dressed or head out the door. He is happy and I cant thank the school enough for that.

My husband and are dual military and often pulled in opposite directions. This school has bent over backwards to help our son.

I couldn't be more pleased with my child's school experience at Marigny! The teachers, administration, and staff are all loving, nurturing, and truly care about my child's growth and development. There is a wonderful culture at this school where everyone feels welcome to volunteer and participate in school activities. The school and PTA put on fun family events throughout the year that really make the school the center of our community. There is a strong emphasis put on POSITIVE behavior education and support rather than "discipline." Teachers really work with each of the children to help them achieve academic success to the best of their abilities whether they are gifted, typical leaners, or need special education support. The teachers and administration have an open door policy. Whenever I've had a question or concern, I've been able to speak directly with someone to get a speedy answer or resolution. I really think Marigny is the best elementary school in the parish and the school's strength is the main reason that we have chosen to live in our current neighborhood.

Marigny is a wonderful school! It is a very welcoming and friendly school. My child has grown tremendously in this loving, supportive environment. Not only academically but socially. There are many opportunities for parents to become active in their child's education. From helping in the classroom to assisting at one of many events at the school. The strong foundation that Marigny has provided my child will stay with her for many years to come.

My daughter has attended Marigny from Pre-k to 1st grade. I love the school and the faculty. The parent involvement is amazing. I love being able to talk to the teachers and principal so easily. My daughter has learned so much more than I thought she would. I cannot wait for my son to attend.

Most of the teachers came from Magnolia Trace when the schools split with K and 1st moving to Marigny. The parent volunteers are great. I have been very pleased with the education, the environment, and the teachers at Marigny. It hasn't been perfect but what school is perfect. I am confident that my kids are getting a great foundation, and they have many activities that they might not have had: art and music, library, PE, KKids...

This has been a wonderful two years for my child. I'm sad to see it come to an end. The principal has a great sense of humor and compassion when it comes to dealing with students. I've been totally pleased with my child's teachers, the staff, and the administration at this young school. It has only been open for a short time, but everyone that my child has been in contact with will leave a huge imprint on my child's life. I'm blessed that my child had the opportunity to grow and learn in such a wonderful place. These memories will last a lifetime! THANK YOU to all of the faculty, staff, and administration for 2 STARRIFIC YEARS! ...from Grateful Parents

The worst school principal in St Tammany Parish. I think the only thing she enjoys about her job is a pay check.

Wow! This school seems great but we have had a TERRIBLE experience as to date. . .we are hoping next year is better. This school is only kindergarten and 1st grade and my child is currently in kindergarten. We have met with both my child's teacher and Ms. Martin the principal a few times. . .all the meetings ended with no solution to resolving our issues with the teacher. My child's teacher is just sitting pretty with retirement right around the corner and is just there for a paycheck. It is terrible. Thankfully there are other options around here. Be careful if you are new to the community.
