Communication was great and the front office staff is amazing, but I was very disappointed with the curriculum and with how discipline was handled.

Giving after school detentions for missed homework assignments is a terrible plan.

Teachers here are great with communication, but my son was working several grade levels behind where he was academically (we just moved here from out of state)

The discipline plan is terrible. It's punitive, unreasonable, and unproductive. Also, the restrictive food policy is ridiculous. If you are going to make the kids eat the school lunch--at least make sure the lunch is edible.

They try hard to incorporate the arts into the curriculum, something that is not easy but has proven to be something wonderful culturally and academically .
