East Jefferson High School was a great experence in my life. I was there when it was new and graduated in 1961. The teachers at that time were awesome except for one that taught ancient history. Since he would not teach it, over the years it is now my favorite topic to read about. Perhaps I should actually saw thanks to Mr. Henderson. The coach was always tough on me because when I was a kid I delivered the newspaper a few times to many on the roof. I had a great arm and he went on to be a great mayor of Kenner. Great memories and friends, too.

I just graduated from this school. It's an amazing school. All of the faculty and staff is great. Most of them know you by name. They have a very safe environment and a lot of programs for kids. I was in Quiz bowl and ITS (International Thespian Society). They just added a french class to the course selection. It's a great school they build you up mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Great faculty and administrators that are committed to the well-being of the students. Excellent academic and atheltic opportunities. Plus there are many clubs for students to join that promote a well rounded high school experience.
