The only thing that I could say about the school, is the teachers try their heart is saying engage and help the students improve educational wise, but as far as the staff, they are horrible the principal is horrible. The staff will call you throughout the whole day about little things While you're working, and they lie about things a lot the principal take side with her staff and her teachers and is always against the parent I wouldn't give this higher rate if it wasn't for the teachers, but if I had to write the staff in the principal, it will be zero stars

my son currently goes to this school because we live in the district, which is the only reason he's going there.. when he was in pre-school his teacher has some chart she used to "control" their behavior. she would mark my son a different color because of things like he misplaced his name badge. I had to call the teacher and explain to her that if she really cared about the kids' behavior she wouldn't mark them down for something that has nothing to do with their behavior. Also they have a woman secretary there named patty that is just a horrible person. She comes off with a power-trip attitude before you even reach a conversation with her. I've spoken about her with other staff members and they have also said she has a bad reputation. If I didn't think she would take it out on my son, I'd really tell her where to go.

My kids have been here for a single nine weeks and it has been a nightmare. The assistant principal is so nice, the principal has an attitude problem that could stop a bear in it's tracks. I can't get my phone calls returned, they seem to think they can just tell whomever picks my kid up that he got into trouble, not me, you know their actual parent. Communications skills are no existent. Don't worry they will make sure you know your an inconvenience and on their time. My son is autistic and was treated more like a violent offender than a child at times. When I enrolled them and tried to go over the list of stressors and triggers it's was basically like "ya, ya ok whatever." It's just a sad excuse for an administration.

The teachers in the lower grades are the reason I was able to give the school at least 3 star . If it wasn't for the teachers it would definitely be 1 star!

Office staff bullies the parents and students. I've watched patty in the office talk to a child like he was nobody!

The teachers my child has had has been great!!! However the office staff and principal are terrible! They are like adult bullies! The school is no longer middle school only. It is prek-8 I will not be sending my child back to this school due to I would like to be more involved in my child's school but the office staff and principal are too difficult to deal with. Patty guidry is the ring leader. The cafeteria workers has thrown my child's lunch away several times if he isn't finished eating. He tells me they do it to all the kids. I pay for school lunch!!!!

The teachers here that my children have had are great. However I can not say the same for the office staff. They are rude and never speak! You walk in the office and they don't acknowledge you! They sit at their desks and rarely move to assist you. It's like you're inconveniencing them, like it's not their job to assist you. The principal is the same. Rude, walks right past you and never speaks. If it weren't for the good teachers I've encountered the school would receive 1 star from me the 2 ladies that work in the office as well as the principal need training in office etiquette, customer service, and respect!

This year the school became K-8th grade. The only good thing about the school is that the students are well separated. The school is a train wreck. The Principal & Asst. principal do not get along. One wants it ran like an elem. school and the other a middle school. The discipline is NOT there - the students do what they want and only get a slap on the wrist. - The reason why is because they dont want to suspend anyone because there scores will go down. - It really is ashame. This school has also had alot of problems with teachers leaving. They should have 3 - 3rd classes but since a teacher quit and they never bothered to fill the teachers job- the class was split and put in the other classes. So now the class room are packed. - Teachers are leaving for long periods of time(to have babies) and the school won't keep a long time substitute. So they kids are losing out on learning. Children in special ed should not be at this school. They do not have adaptive PE and the teachers that are there for special ed classes are often pulled to cover other classes when teachers don't show up. Then they kids in inclusion classes are left without a teacher or para. - I pulled my kids out!

The truth about this school is that it was HORRIBLE!!!! I was an honors student was was not that bad but those teacher did not really care that much about my well being and the students are so stupid at times. I wanted to be in Ellender's band, but when I got to the school in 2006, I found myself having to take P.E. classes because the band teacher left and they canceled it. One of the ONLY good things about this school is that the P.E. teaches were so cool with the students and we learned about different sports as well as played them. I liked P.E. a lot, but I wanted band! Ugh!!!!!
