The teachers are amazing. However, the principal has the teachers and students always nervous. She is a bully to both the students and teachers. - I'm surprised she even has staff that sticks around. - God bless the teachers that stay at Estelle and put up with her. It can't be easy.

The principal is awful. She bullies the students about testing. She has even gone as far as meeting with the middle school students telling them how they need to do on LEAP testing. - This had my child in tears. This made her worry even more about the up coming testing. -- These children are worried enough about testing before having the principal pull them in the hallway individually an bully them about it. Stressing these children out are not going to make them do better on a test. Not only are the students terrified of her. The poor teachers are scared of her. She bullies her staff as well. -- Its like she thrives on stressing people out. -- She lectures on the morning and afternoon announcements. My child has even told me she heard her yelling at a child in the office.

It appears that the principal is the real bully at this school. She likes to put fear into her students and teachers. -- She doesn't understand some people can't work under that kind of stress. She stresses the students out.

The teachers have been great. I have never had a problem getting in contact with a teacher. They have always been wonderful with my children. They are tough teachers, but fair. -- The principal on the other hand needs to learn how to talk to people especially students.

The school needs a principal that is involved with students and parents. I have been to this school with several problems this year and never able to see or speak with her, only the assistant principal. The only good thing is my children have great teachers. Other staff and P.E. not so great.

They never look into things to see if a student is having trouble and may have a learning disability.

If your child gets hit by another student they get in trouble for hitting back. Sorry not sorry, my kids will defend their selves.

If you bring a bullying issue to the school nothing will be done to the bully but your child will become a target for the principal herself.

The principal allows students to bully other children. When a parent does complain she tries to sweep it under the rug and nothing gets done about it.

My son used to love school. We moved into Estelle's district 4 years ago and now he cries because he has to go there.

My child comes home with work that doesn't make any sense. The wording of the paragraphs isn't correct.

Teachers are too busy trying to stay out of trouble with the principal to be able to deal with the students properly.

This school used to be great. A few years back it started to decline. Test scores went down, bullying went up drastically. They added 6, 7 & 8th grades and became a scary place for the younger students. My son who used to love school now cries and doesn't want to go. They also charge you if you don't want your kid to ride a dangerous bus. It costs 20 dollars to be able yo pick up your own kids in your own car.
