The office staff is not professional. My first time having a conversation with the principal, she came at me loud and cutting me off with anything I had to say. Her excuse was that is she very busy and thats why she didnt answer email from a week ago. They didnt waste no time suspending my child and telling me the day of but when I requested a meeting about it it I had to keep nudging about it until the principal came at me so aggressively because of what an office staff member told her. She didnt even come at me appropriately to ask what the concern is. The only reason the situation didnt escalate is because of myself. If I met her at the level she came at me we would not have resolved anything. I almost felt like they were doing it on purpose so my concerns would not be addressed. Very disappointed. There should be a system in place for everything.

My kids attended or still attend Harold Keller. They have scored amazing on LEAP, and my oldest tested in to the magnet program for middle school. They are happy, confident children, that love their school and their teachers. Administration seems to out of their way to work with students, teachers, and parents to resolve issues. I have been very happy this year to read all of the academic accolades this school has received for going above and beyond. I just feel like something great had to be said about this school. I certainly have no complaints.

Homework is appropriate, but not excessive. Seems to reinforce the skills the kids have been taught.

If your child has special needs, they are not welcome here. Anyone that supplies test scores that lower their average better do better or else. Does your child have an IEP? Who cares! Not Harold Keller Elementary! Your child better conform to life without academic support or they FAIL! No second chance. If you do get academic help, your child will spend their day isolated from their peers until lunchtime. #epicfail

Harold Keller is a good school. Certainly not bad but, not the best. I have three siblings that attend this school. When I went, the principal was better. Not that the new one is bad though. I now go to patrick taylor and will transfer to haynes next year. And this was my elementry school

My son attended Harold Keller his kindergarten year and the first month of his first grade year. We will certainly miss our Keller family. Landon will be back when he is caught up with the other kids. He has a mild learning ability and needs more improvement. Very sad to be leaving and will strive to come back for second grade.
