The principal is only there for a fashion show I guess. doesn’t hold paraprofessionals nor teachers accountable for anything. the leaders are the receptionists they are the only ones that care about the student they are wonderful always helpful.

Humm where do I begin I don’t even know if I wanna waste my breath on this pathetic school. I wouldn’t send a dead dog here. This school is understaffed they have substitutes and non licenses teachers at the beginning of school year if not the whole school year. they don’t make you or your child feel confident with a successful education. They do not involve parent with education information. so your child goes to school and comes home with half of the homework if any, no books because they don’t have enough books. They didn’t have a librarian at all last year so the children didn’t go to the library. Sad sad that’s all I can say. If your child is failing you won’t know until it’s to late and on the report card. Teachers don’t know the curriculum they are teaching common core from a New York website without full understandment. No open communication to make children successful. But they will call you because your child has on the wrong color socks. This school should have stayed a D school. all of the good teachers leave or are temporary from out of state. Their hardwork with the students is wasted because the next teacher doesn’t continue with a successful school year. This school and all JPPS should be ashamed. I’m ashamed for subjecting my child to this JOKE. If I have to pay out of pocket for private school and a better education I will. Please do yourself and child a favor and not send them to this CIRCUS. I regret even living in this school district. They don’t even offer after school care and will not even contact B&GClub to have the transportation option for working parents. Just send your children to belle chasse or fill out for the scholarship program for private school. JPPS schools should be shut down and re-evaluate whoever stealing the education funds stop the system has failed our children. because these children deserve better. They are our future!

I wouldn't even give Mcdonough 26 one star if I could help it. They're ignorant, victimizing, lazy people. I am ashamed I sent my child there and subjected her to the ignorance and stupidity of the people working there. She had her hair cut, bullied, not taught properly, hit in the classroom and Despite us telling the teachers many times nothing at all was done about it. Do not send your child here for their own sake and futures.

I do not like this school. They are unprofessional and curse at your children. The teachers cannot handle the classrooms or the parents of their students. Just last week my daughter told me how her class mates mother cursed all the kids in the class out and no one told the woman anything. This is outrageous and unacceptable.
