This school is an amazing school. The staff is amazing, there are plenty of opportunities to be involved in after school activities, and parents can easily be involved with their kids learning. I just started at this school this school year and I love it. Would definitely recommend this school.

This place is a hell hole, very little to look forward to throughout the day, sexism is found in a majority of teachers, teachers don't hear you out and have a hard time understanding anything you say and it is often hard to learn new topics.

My son has been refused a 504 or IEP I have been advocating for almost 2 full marking periods with nothing in place yet. I hired a lawyer to get results.

They do not care if your being bullied or harrassed unless you have good standing financially or with the community.

The teachers allow racial discrimination and use of the N word with no reporting of incidents.

This was the worst experience of my son's life our family has been under so much stress due to a racist classist community and the school never help or supported us they seemed to enjoy our pain. The harassment then transferred to the high school where my daughter attended they were attacking from every direction until I hired a attorney.

Both of my children attended BMS and were well prepared for the rigorous academic standards at Boonsboro High School. Also, I never worried about their safety and felt that admin was on top of their game with respect to bullying and climate.

I was VERY disappointed in the way the school was run this year. I tried to contact the principal and other teachers via their email and never got responses. There is supposed to be a zero tolerance policy on bullying, but it was permitted to continue in the classrooms and failed to be corrected. The end of the year field trip was used as a fundraiser by some of the staff. The children were told they had to give $1 before they were permitted on the bus and then the entire ride home they were asked repeatedly for money. One bus alone raising almost $200. The children were given that money for food and souvenirs not for the school to take. There was clearly too little supervision on that field trip when one of the girls got herself in legal trouble at the park trying to earn money for food and souvenirs.
