My daughter and I love this school, the principal and the teacher are amazing. We are so happy to belong at prince street e.

Prince St Elementary My grand daughter is new to Maryland, her first year is in the third grade. The teacher is great!!!! She has made many friends and enjoys her new school. IGNORE the bad reviews, don't know why people seem to have problems. This school offers many more programs that our previous state did not. I am impressed. The kids are nice, seems the bullies have been asked to leave. They do wear uniforms if you don't like that, it may be a problem for you, not for us. They offer a fine afterschool program with buses if you need that. (We never had so much at our school in AZ) We are happy with Prince, and with Bennett High and Jr. Look forward to the new building for Jr High.

I agree with the other parents. The principal is not favorite, even before the DUI. Very unapproachable, and very rude and dismissive when I met with him to discuss my son's progress in his school. His attitude makes me not want to be involved with the school, and I am really hoping we get a new principal next school year. The teachers are ok, but frankly I am surprised at how rude and stern some of them are with the students. I have overheard teachers talking down to the children and all but yelling at them, even at the K level. I don't remember being talked down to and sassed at by teachers when I was in school. My son is doing fine academically (for now), but I'm not very impressed with the personnel.

Mr. Christopher P. Nunzio, Principal of Prince Street Elementary school was arrested for a DUI on March 22, 2013. In my inion as a parent, this is reprehensible behavior for someone with this very public position. The children of Prince Street Elementary school deserve far better than this. Parents can voice their concerns to Mrs. Susan Jones, Director of Elementary Education at four one zero six seven seven four four zero zero and demand their child be moved to a school with a Principal that is committed to student success.

I agree with the previous poster. The principal is not friendly and does not care about the students and treats the students poorly. I am currently looking into another elementary school to move my sons to.
