They don't push them too fast, yet don't let them fall behind. They are VERY encouraging as well.

They seem to hand out homework pending how far the class gets during the day. If they obviously caught on then they don't over burden with tons of extra JUST because the teach originally planned to do so. They also know Wed. nights are busy for many families so hold back quite a bit that night. If it's not needed then at least the children get a middle of the week break.

As stated previously, they teach respect and patriotism as well as service. They do not allow people to consistently disrupt class and instill multiple responsibilities lacking in so many people now days. As well in doing all this while in a smaller class/school size it seams to have the added benefit of giving the children strong self confidence as well.

They do not rush your child for the sake of pushing them on to the next grade like public school often does. They take the time to help the child in areas they struggle in and push them in the areas they are strong, eventually getting the child on level in all areas in the curriculum. The goal is the same as most prep schools. To have the child WELL ahead of public school stats and ready for college. My daughter came from 3 years of screwed up public school "Common Core" They are having to deal with the obvious aftermath. They are doing an AWESOME job of it. She has come so far in such a short time. She was afraid the school would be so small she would not make friends. she LOVES it now. They do NOT let kids get out of control or continually disrupt class like many public schools. Yet, they also are NOT overbearing on the children either. For the money I just don't think you can beat it. They do this for families as a ministry so charge WAY less than most any private school. They are HUGE on patriotism and respect for others. The downfall is with smaller sizes not being able to offer as many team sports and clubs. So after school teams outside of the school may be the way to go. They have a few things, just not much. They will watch the children for up to 2 hrs after school ends for $1.00 per half hr. So unlike many schools you do not have to get someone to pick them up on time or worry about them getting home off bus to no adult supervision. This is another great thing about the school. EVERY SINGLE PENNY is well worth it. $200 more/month even would be well worth for what they teach and the advancement your child will get. Thank God they don't charge that much more or I would never be able to afford it. This truly is a great ministry they do for the local area. It is not advertised and is only word of mouth.

I constantly praise this school and am very thankful for the blessing of having my child attend. The staff is admirable and the Academy's approach to education and life is in line with the values of sound morals and wholesome character that we have in our home. The student/teacher ration is wonderful and allows for a more in-depth learning experience for my son. Regular programs that get the children out into the community foster a sense of looking out for one's neighbor and promotes stewardship. I am not aware of any scholarships offered for tuition, but feel that the rates are fair and reasonable. I also like the teacher/parent approach to each student's education that the school promotes.

This school is great. Good Christian values and a solid education. I could not possibly say enough good things.
