We have have three children at OES. One with special needs (phenomenal staff and program) and two mainstream (still there). Our family have been Oakdale
owls from 2014, I believe and still there today with our kiddos (2022). Fantastic school!

We are no longer at this school, but as a parent, it’s pretty important to stay on top of your child’s education because the work they are doing (or lack there of) is evident in my one child’s experience.

They have taken away all of the fun activities that students once loved going to school for.

I am very disappointed with the leadership in this school. As an educator at a different school, it is obvious the lack of leadership. The admin at this school make the decisions with very little teacher input. Parents are spoken to like they have no understanding of the educational process instead of having a productive dialogue between both parties. I’m so disappointed by this that I switched my children out of this school.

Teachers have large classes and if your child isn’t one of the major needs, they are overlooked. My child has a learning need and was on grade level before coming to school. Because he was ahead of his peers who needed more time and attention, he did not learn anything the entire school year. I’m capable of knowing all educational goals for elementary and there was no sign of growth. This is majorly disappointing and my reason for pulling him out.

Administration is excellent and responsive to parents. Teachers are highly qualified and students work hard. There are also lots of fun events that the school does.

Brand new facility with excellent resources. Lots of computers and space for kids to work. The special rooms like the gym and art room are brand new and top of the line. My son loves this school!

What a great school. Beautiful facility, terrific teachers and involved parents. We transferred into the area from a private school and this was our first experience in public school. We are very happy with the choice we made. Strongly recommend this school to anyone moving to area.
