My son was there for two years. 3s and Pre-K. We are from Spain so English is his second language (we came to the US when he was 2).

At Pre-K during January the teacher recommended us to keep him one more year at Georgetown Hill as Kindergarden was going to be overwhelming for him and a feeling of failure would invade him.

Well, they had 5 more months to make him be at the right level but they simply gave up on him. Maybe, they were just interested in have one more client, on more year or they are just not in the mood to work harder and make him be at the same level (my guess, the teacher should be retired)

So, I taught him what they couldn`t (or wanted). One day, one of the assistant teachers told my husband "whatever you are doing with him, it is working". I just taught him letters and how to read them. Just what they didn't do at school.

This year, 2019-2020, he has been in Kindergarden, he has been happier than ever. He got a P (profiency) on everything.

I would not recommend this school.

Horrible experience, I am so happy I removed my daughter from this school. My deposit could have been refund as it is done in other facilities. I do not recommend sending your kids there.

I registered my daughter to this school and have to move out of states, they did not want to refund my deposit.

This preschool is AMAZING! You know you've found the right place for your kids the moment you walk in. The halls are always decorated with student art work and fun classroom themes. The classrooms are bright and organized with lots of great activities to engage the kids. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. I've had 3 kids go through Georgetown Hill. My last is 'graduating' this year. My first is now 10. This school stands out more than the rest -- to name a few reasons...because of the amazingly nurturing staff, their excellent out-of-the-box activities, the terrific curriculum/philosophy, and the introduction of so many opportunities for the students like iPads, Cooking, Art, Dance, Yoga, Outdoor Exploration, and Gardening. I highly recommend this school. We will be sad to graduate out of this school. My kids have always been very successful in Kindergarten thanks to this school!!!

We were a part of Georgetown Hill family for 6 years and 3 kids. Loved the school, teachers and director. Really hard on the kids when they had to start at Darnestown, all of them wanted to stay at Georgetown Hill. I would recommend GHES to anyone and if you had a doubt I could change your mind in 5 minutes. The most caring and loving staff that truly want to help your kids 1st experience to school.

I think it goes without saying that choosing a place to leave your child is one of the most important decisions you can make. Since our daughter has attended Georgetown Hill we have been completely comfortable with the level of care and education she has received. Georgetown Hill has very high quality teachers and is run with a high level of organization and love. We are very happy with the variety of learning which incorporates the latest technology, fun in-house events, and lots of hands-on projects that the kids love. I would recommend anyone to GHES. We recently moved out of the area and continue to commute our daughter to GHES because we're so happy there.
