Very pleased with academic preparation my child has received here. Kindergarten enrichment program (targeted for kids that missed Sept 1 cutoff to start MCPS), in particular, gets very high marks - teacher is wonderful and really knows how to relate to the kids. New Assistant Director started about 6 months ago - many v positive changes since -added free Spanish lessons 1x/week, music lessons 1x/week, fun bus 1x/week. My daughter will be very overprepared for kindergarten. I'm concerned she will be bored once she starts in MCPS. Summer programs are great - trip to pool once a week for kids 4 and older; and kids that are 5 or older have additional field trip once a week. Staff turnover historically pretty low, and the staff does really care about the kids.
