I graduated from Oakdale high school a few years ago. It was a great school! I came not knowing any English and the professors were very understanding. They made me feel comfortable and not scared to speak up. I have now graduated from UMD with a degree in engineering. It is all thanks to the knowledge I learned at Oakdale High School.

The school has a fantastic facility, but the honors courses (at least in the lower grades, not AP courses) have students far below the honors level in them, this is affecting learning at the higher, college prep level.

Oakdale is a really nice school and the athletics program is pretty good. However, many of the students there seem to have a problem accepting new students. I started attending Oakdale not that long ago and I don't have many friends. I guess it's because almost everyone has known each other since elementary school and have grown up in the same area. It could also be because Oakdale is a predominantly white school and not very diverse so people aren't as accepting.

Oakdale is the best school ever. I am in the first graduating class and I am so proud of how far we have come in the three years it is has been opened. Its still growing and needs work but you won't find nicer staff or students. Yes there is a small bullying problem but it is not like most schools.
