I graduated from Perryville High school in 2012. Perryville is a very small intimate school that gives students an opportunity to receive a lot of one on one time with teachers. The school community is very close and a large percent of student are involved in sports and extra curricular activities. My main complaints are a lack of diversity but the school is still very inclusive

This is my daughter's first year at Perryville High School. I am so far very pleased with her experience. Many of her teachers have upper level degrees or are nationally certified. I can see a clear difference in the level of professionalism and how seriously these teachers take their jobs. Guidance and the teachers are also going above and beyond with mentoring and helping the student with things outside of the normal classroom teaching. My daughter is enrolled in the STEM (Science, Technology, Math, Engineering,) program which has been a fantastic challenge. She is also enrolled in a 4 year BioMed program that is special to Perryville HS. This program is giving her an advanced look at biomedical topics that will help her determine if the biomedical field is right for her. I have always believed that a great education begins with the family. I am thrilled to have my daughter in a school system that cares and is doing great things -- and I don't have to pay $500,000 for a home in this school district!
