This school has had so many ups and downs. Some teachers pick favorites and others dont. Most teachers are passionate about teaching but when it comes to the student some are unruly and refuse to confine to school rules. This makes a sense of hostility because they ruin the experience for everyone else. On the other hand teachers like to categorize bad behavior (ex. One group of students are acting up, they punish the whole class).

When it comes to bad behavior it really is just certain groups and if you stay away from those groups you most likely wont face bullying or discrimination. When there is bullying it is handled immediately and is dealt with.

When it comes to physical altercations, they dont arise much in the school environment, but when they do they are very messy. Most altercations are verbal.

This school does have bugs and occasionally rodents but the older nature of the building always will present that issue.

When it comes down to if you should come to this school, I personally wouldnt change anything, the teacher (regardless of ability to teacher) are 98% very kind. Your going to have the experience of you life but you come out a better person.

This school is okay, but could be better. There is a new principal, and all she does is yell at students. There are multiple altercations in a single day, and 97% of them happen in the bathrooms. There are kids that are afraid to go to the bathroom just because of the amount of people that get jumped because there is zero hallway monitoring. The food is okay, but occasionally, the chicken is raw. Once, my friend found a FEATHER in her chicken. The water fountains have weird, gross stains on them, and the locks on most of the bathroom stalls either dont work or are completely taken off. Dr Marker and Mr. Ryan are amazing administrators. The classrooms (especially in the 7th grade hallway) are either freezing cold or burning hot. I have mixed feeling about the teachers, but some of them pick favorites and you can clearly tell. I am so excited to leave this place.

If I could give this school 0 stars I would! The only thing great about this school is a select few teachers, the guidance counselor Ms. Twilley, Ms. Thomas and Mr. Ryan. The administration sucks! Theyre the worse! They have a high tolerate for bullying and they show favoritism. The Code of Conduct is definitely not followed at WMS. The administration lacks communication and common sense. This is by far the worse school my child has went to! And not to mention, if your child is a color of skin- they will get treated differently.

Pretty good school. The teachers that I had were very passionate about teaching their curriculums. It's easy to make friends and be in a welcoming community. However, the food that is served during lunch needs to be immediately improved in quality. I think the school would be better off if it gave more challenging classes, but overall I would reccomend to go here.

Unsafe, not enough teachers to monitor students. The classrooms are fine, its just the hallways and lunch line are really bad. Average of 1 altercation per day. Would not recommend.

This school was wonderful when my eldest child went through it a few years ago. However since then there is a new principal who does nothing to improve the climate of the school. Ive seen her as she runs around barking and yelling at students. she is a community member (which I personally think should not be allowed) of our school and parents and students can see she is clearly playing favorites while targeting others. Her reactive approach to issues is running this school into the ground. Im glad that my children will soon be out of this school.

im currently a 8th grader in WMS,and so far my experience is horrible. The teachers barley take initiative in helping their students.my learning experience hasn't been that good. Teachers do NOT pay attention to the different learning ways and learning capabilitys. This school dose nothing about bullying or anything in that note. The admin and teachers do nothing but lecture us and DO absolutely nothing to help students.

I am currently an 8th grader of this school. And to put it nicely this school sucks the bathrooms are not clean I have gone into the girls bathroom and have seen dried blood from who knows how long. Ive seen flies and all of the sorts there is a rat problem and they won't fix it. The teachers play favorites the clearly bad kids get off with a warning and nothing happens.

kids are made fun of for there race, gender, sexuality and I know that teachers have heard it and yet done nothing about it. Personally my teachers are better good and I am so thankful for them yet feel awful because they work at this school.

So to sum it up this school is disgusting, there is favoritism, and people can get away with bullying. This school was supposed to be a safe place for all and yet it isn't I cannot wait to leave.

And oh did I mention kids do drugs? I've seen them vape and yet nothing has been done!

This school doesn't have much to pride itself on.

My daughter is attending and about to be pulled. I actually have video of her she took while being bullied by the known school bully who physically and verbally assaults students daily with no consequences. The principal is pathetic for lack of a better word. Does nothing about these kind of students and usually blames the victim. Its a sad disgusting racist environment with poor leadership and values. I moved from pg county because of these issues with my older daughter and here we are again. My daughter loved school till this year. The staff for the majority is a complete disgrace. A handful of good teachers and thats it. They do not support fair play, treatment or educational standards equally and are a embarrassment to this county. I stand firmly behind all items mentioned above.

I was being physically attacked and when I tried to defend myself I was threatened expulsion. This school does nothing for bullying but allowing it. I've also had people throw rocks at me for no reason and shoved around more times than I can count.
