Love this school! Love the teachers, staff, and principal. They all go above and beyond the call of duty. I enjoy my interactions with them all. Principal and all of my children's teachers are very caring!!

My children are happy. They get a good education and feel cared about. That's what matters to me most - that my children are good but I am happy too.

The principal is unpleasant and lacks transparency with decision-making. She seems to have a misunderstanding of child development and age-appropriate communication. Assistant principal, counselor, and other staff members have been great, though!

My son had his IEP established in this school for less than 1 year, the school decided to transfer him to a self-contained classroom with little to no warning to me as a parent. I trusted the school and staff that thought that would be a great program for him, little did I know it turns out to be a horrible experience for him. Now due to COVID, my son has been under the right care, guidance, and love. He is making progress. Looking back, I strongly felt this school has zero to a low tolerance to students with a learning difference. The communication was not transparent.

Nothing less than a great experience my little girl is at middle school now but the teachers still remember her name.

This school was amazing. My 6 years here have been amazing. Little to no conflict and its small enough to know everyone in there. The teachers care about the students wellbeing and care about everyone.

Former alum of Germantown Elementary and I couldn't ask for a better elementary school experience. The small school setting truly allows for children to learn and be cultivated and nurtured within an intimate setting where the class sizes are just the right size.

I moved to this school neighborhood after doing lots of research. After two years of having my kids educated at Germantown we are more than happy with all aspects of the school - teachers, principal, PTA, etc. The principal is extremely knowledgeable and personable, the teachers are friendly and hard-working, the other parents are welcoming and supportive. My research paid off in more ways than I can count!

Overall a very well runned school. Small enough where most staff members know the students by first name. Current principle runs a very structured school. This school gives strong focus on learning. I believe it's fair to say that it competes well with the educational focus commonly given in private schools. However, the current principal is not very amicable. She's very strong willed although does not come across as such in the beginning. She does not like being challenged nor negative feedback given on her staff. Serious staff issues brought to her attention are followed up quickly. However, issues she judges as not serious, she'll challenge the parent and come across as dismissive. She and some of her high ranking teachers should be reminded that they work for the county and out tax money provides their paychecks. Some of the staff should work on having and showing a more humble persona.
