This school system in general has struggled with no longer having the room for students. The teachers are overwhelmed and have said kids with worse problems will be helped first and others in the middle are on the own. Bullying is a huge problem that unfortunately kids are learning from their parents Some staff do truly care but the school is hobbled with staff quitting and retiring.

We currently drive our children to kingsley schools from Kalkaska. The elementary and middle school far exceed any other schools in the area in my opinion. Academically kingsley schools are ALWAYS ontop. The staff is amazing and you just cant beat the small town feel you get, and welcoming by the community.

I just wish there were more than one teacher willing tutoring. My son needs more help, or even outside people willing to tutor.
