My family and I relocated from Kentucky to St. Louis, MO and this was our son's 1st year in school. We literally toured EVERY charter school in St. Louis city and knew hands down Eagle was the best place for our son. The principal Shawn Williams is absolutely amazing with all of the kids, he is very knowledgeable and willing to invest in the kids. His teachers Mrs. Benson and Mr. Nash are equally amazing and supportive of our goals for our son to receive a quality education. It's a partnership of school and family involvement that I am pleased is embraced. I love that they embody teaching the kids about character, integrity, and how to respect others, have a strong emphasis on academia - we love the curriculum. Our son is using great reasoning, logic, almost reading on a 1st grade level, and adding and subtracting. We are extremely pleased with our choice.

Each student is on a different level and the teacher tries to get each student on the level that they are supposed to be on

The school handles bullying well because they don't tolerate bullying and if they was to see it happening they automatically stop the situation and pull the students to the side and tells them that they can't hit on one another and they also inform the parents to let them know as well

Each teacher takes apart in each student work and they all help each other to help the students getting the level where they need to be

The teachers are effective because they are hands on with each student and they try their best to help them when needed

The homework packet always include each subject that is learned at school inside it to help each student get more practice in the subject to remember how to do it

The teachers are focused on each student and push them to thrive. There is also less shouting at the students, which I've experienced in other schools.

My children have made significant improvements since they have started at Eagle. They both like their teachers and seem to enjoy learning now. This is a huge transformation from last year at their old school. I am so happy they attend here.
