Overall! We hate this school! The staff is rude and always has an attitude! And the kids are just as bad! A constant bulling and so much more that's always swept under the rug!

My child is constantly bullied by the same boy..nothing has been done.Request to talk with the asst. Principal goes unnoticed. The front office staff is the most incompetent I have ever come across. The transportation for the kids is ridiculous they don't let parents know until the last minute. There's are two buses that go by my housing area why don't they put my child on that bus instead of making her late every morning and putting her on a bus that has to do a double route.It makes zero sense!!! The school is lacking in every way.... would not recommend this Middle School to anyone.

Love this school the school staff members are great the school is big. the sports that you get to do are. Baskets ball Volley ball Foot ball boys soccer girls track. sixth grade is not eligible to try foot ball

As a Current student i do not recommend this school for a few Reasons.
1.Most of the "Teachers" don't actually teach they just hand out work.
2.Most of them get mad for the SMALLEST things, like coughing,Sneezing, HAVING TO USE THE BATHROOM.
3.The lunch is ok, Students need more options though.
I do NOT AT ALL recommend this school,UNLESS you HATE your children or you want them to "use the bathroom" on themself
I would all so give this a 0.1 star out of 5 but the minumine is 1.

I'm highly disappointed in this school for not taking action against bullying. I've heard of my little brother being bullied so much for his autism, that not only was he verbally abused, but he had been physically abused in presence of teachers. I am absolutely disgusted you will let that happen.

I'll put this school on blast for the lack of safety they've done to protect students from that much bullying, let alone someone who has a disability. Absolutely disgusting.

This school is pretty average... Not that great, but not the worst middle school in its area. My daughter attends here, and she loves her teachers, but she struggles with acceptance among her peers. The teachers here have their hands full, and many are good teachers, but I have a complaint about the staff at the front office. Inefficient sloth is the only way to describe my wait time whenever I go to the front office. And why on earth does a year-round school NOT have proper EC programs? Of all the types of school a child with disabilities should be attending, I would think a year-round school to be a top notch option! Though, that's not the school's fault. It's upsetting that they took away that option best suited to children who need constants in patterns and routines. This school does not efficiently aid in the development of leadership skills, but rather seems to ignore the formation of cliques among peers.

Great Choice for Year-Round Possibilities. Love having the option to vacation all times of the year instead of having to stick to the same schools as all of the other schools on traditional calendars. Year Round affords you the option of 3-4 week breaks in the Fall & Spring Breaks and 4-5 weeks out for Summer/Winter Breaks. My child is able to retain so much more knowledge during the summer break due to shorter summer breaks than the normal 2 months.

I helped students with autism while attending the school in a program they had. I believe they are 100% for helping students with any type of differences. They encourage interactions with students and help socialize the students with learning differences.

They set up the foundation of what I wanted to pursue in life, which is being a doctor. Now I attend the University of Miami, studying biology and chemistry while doing research at the UM medical campus.

I love the teachers at this school. Not only do they help students pursue their academic niche but they help students understand world issues in different perceptions. They help build the future leaders of America with exposure to real life settings.

I'm a former student of Anne-Chesnutt Middle School. My experience there was very enjoyable due to not only learning with the teachers but also having a social life while in school. My teachers not only challenged me in an academic setting but pushed me to join extracurricular activities. I love the idea of the year round academic school year; it makes students build up good study habits and keeps them engaged in their studies. They set up the foundation of what I wanted to pursue in life, which is being a doctor. My child especially to this school, the year round calendar has many benefits, and the administration care deeply about your students at the school.

My experience has been that when you need help for your children they have been there to assist in our needs. My daughter had EIP and everyone in the school helped out; from the teachers and counselors to the principal and other staff members. Thank you for your efforts.

My daughter was subjected to constant bullying while she attended this school. Several times this happened while the teachers watched. There needs to be a complete overhaul of this schools staff.

I chose this school for it's year-round schooling and the Lego Robotics Program. My child is a sixth grader, so it is our first year attending. My son wants to be an engineer when he gets older, and the Lego Robotics program is a great way start. Because of government cut back, all schools in our county are suffering from teacher cuts to materials needed lacking in the classroom. During sixth grade orientation, parents were asked to donate monies so computers could be purchase for the school. When I inquired about the Robotics Program, the director advised me of when they would start, and how the may be able to go to the state competition, pending funding. I feel our school would be a good candidate to receive this funding because of the continue afford to keep extra-curriculum activities in the school, and it would help in keeping the children at pace with technology, as well. I am parent who tries her best to put my children's education first, and would be more than greatly if Anne Chestnut Middle School if a recipient for funding.

My child has not had a very good experience so far this year. His core teachers act like they dont have time for the kids who don't catch on as quickly as the others do.

Hi, I'm a student here at Anne Chesnutt Middle School, and I love this school. It's the best thing that's happend to me so far, and I'm doing great here. Yes, there might be some drama here, but hey, people are different and I'm sure this happens at every school. But as long as were still learning and doing our best it's all that matters, right? The principal is wonderful and so are the teachers. They teach us to be the best we can be and become successful. Honestly i don't know what people mean when they say stuff like "it's bad" or "Too much drama!". they're wrong.

This school is excellent beyond excellent. I am a rising 9th grader. Just left chesnutt, and this is one of the best schools i have been to yet. I really enjoyed being at chesnutt. I always had good grades A's B's and ive never had good grades like that at any other school. The year-round thing is awesome! The teachers are great, they provide tons of stuff to help students with their work. They always help the students. The principal is amazing. And all the people who work there are VERY caring. Ive never been to a better school!

My son is an A/B honor roll student at ACMS. He has done exceptionally well and likes all of his teachers and classmates. I know that the principal would take the time to hear your concerns and work with you and your boys to help them have better experiences. Remember it is not always the teacher in many instances the kids these days can be extremely rude and disrespectful to their teachers. I would highly recommend ACMS to any person looking to relocate to the 71st attendance area. Make an appointment with the principal and take a tour of the school and see for yourself how great ACMS really is!!!

I have two children attending ACMS and both my boys have had terrible experiences. Teachers and faculty demand children to show respect when they don't give respect back. You have to give in order to receive. My sons are A, B students and they have been treated unfairly. I would not recommend anyone to send their children to this school.
