This school is totally BOGUS
They show a big list of electives and mention we educate in top level.
But the preferred electives are totally ignored and kids get some randomly nameless electives
School is being flooded with DESI gang who are totally mean and selfish
Not worthy at all

Our experience at this school has been quite positive so far. Theres a wonderful variety of clubs and activities, along with plenty of elective choices. They even offer advanced math courses that you dont find in most schools. Communication between the teachers, principal, parents, and students is fantastic. Of course, there are some challenges with having such a diverse student body, but I genuinely believe this is a fantastic environment for students to learn and thrive.

The school principal, teachers and PTSA reps have been extremely good at communicating and engaging with the school community. Many families are very involved in the after-school clubs and volunteering activities. Advanced courses and variety of electives keep the students quite engaged and interested in learning. This school offers specialized tracks and course options for gifted students.

New Principal of 2023 of Carnage did not give Education Absence even for students representing school. How petty the principal's mindset is?

Pretty horrible and wish it never happened. If we had to choose again we would not send our kids here.
Posted: December 13, 2018
Very unorganized with no direction to help the kids.

These teachers turn a blind eye to bullying.

Administration does not care about problems with bullying.

Our experience at Carnage was terrible. There is a huge amount of bullying, and even some of the teachers are cruel to the kids. I completely regret sending my son there. One teacher actually ridiculed my son in front of the entire class. It was awful from day one, and we left after 7th grade before too much more damage was done.

This school has a bad problem with the security of its students.

I wish my child didnt waste time attending this school. I as a parent made a bad choice putting my child in this school.

my son is a rising 7th grader and is an AG student. he love it. he enjoys his classmates and enjoys electives. He certainly had his run ins with undesirable students. One breaking his things and another stealing from his lunch account but he is not bothered by it. He says he is enjoying academics and he is learning to deal with adversitiy. My younger daughter will be attending this year but she is not an AG student so only time will tell if the experience will be good for her. She also has an IEP so lets see how it goes!!

The administration and teachers are very engaged and open to discussion and ideas. The curriculum is very diverse, challenging, and interesting. They integrate science and art and business-skills-prep very effectively so that the kids are really well rounded and a wide variety of learners are able to thrive.

Carnage Middle was a horrible place for my son. The schedule is grueling and the administration extremely unorganized. Do not go to this school! And the kids are as mean as they come

I am a 7th grader a Carnage middle school for the 2016-17 school year. My experience is good because we have some really good classes along with teachers but it's not great because of a large majority of students have behavior issues and don't want to listen which makes the rest of us kinda uncomfortable.

This school is very unorganized and chaotic. The time between classes is too short, and it's overcrowded. The schedules were not correct at the beginning of the year. It's impossible to get any electives you really want. Do NOT send your 6th grader here.

The students cannot sit with everyone in the grade. They have to sit with there team and homeroom :( also getting on the bus is very unorganized! kids should be able to sit with there friends! I should rate this school 1 star. The school is also old, some walls look rusted, and the mirrors in the bathroom are not glass! So let kids sit with anyone!!!

The administration sucks her. Many issues as a parent you might have gets sweep under the rug. I have spoken to other parents and the feelings is mutual. It is said that the man principal was wonderful however they have a new principal and she has not dealt with issue professional what so ever. correspondence is horrible I would say if you are interested in a school that cares pass this one by. just fyi

I am a rising 6th grader or maybe rising 5th grader either way i am going to carnage and from what i here they had have some fights but not everyday and the school has good security and my fiend goes there and she says there are some flaws but the school has great students and great teacher.

Sad to say carnage is not the best learning environment. I recently moved and i had a choice to continue at East Garner magnet middle school, or go to carnage. I was talking to some girls that carnage and the school is bad. EGMMS has flaws, but not like this school. Fights happen everyday, one of the girls say that these 6th graders were smoking in the bathrooms. 6th graders really?! But then again its academic program is above average.

I'm an 8th grader at Carnage and it's a pretty great school. I've also come here for 6th gand 7th grade. It's a challenging enough school for you exceed your expectations of yourself, and gentle enough for you not to have too much pressure on your shoulders. There are several great programs and it specializes in pretty much everything. There seems to be thousands of Arts programs including band, orchestra, etc. And the math here goes up to Pre-Calculus! There's also a great principal. The only problem i have is the teachers and punishments. They're both kind of ridiculous. BUt overall, i'm glad i came here. It's helped me see my bright future.

I am a current student at Carnage. I think it is a great school on acedemics. Some of the students there are not good people to hang around. People do some bad things but if you stay away from them, you have no problem.
