Very nice school, the teachers treat me with respect and discipline, and are always nice. The lunches are great, and the teaching isnt boring. The tests are hard but doable. (Also I just like the schools look) there also very good with bullying too, I almost never see any of that in my grade, it probably still happens but there able to take care of it so it disappears to a naked eye. (Still they need to do better.)

I absolutely hate this school and if you hate your kids or want them to go to early prison, send them there then.

Mr Morrison was always very friendly and involved with the students. He listened to their needs and was always ready to help and come up with solutions to problems.

My son had made many friends who had differences.

Overall I would highly recommend this school! We really enjoyed watching our son grow in many ways. This school has wonderful teachers and administrators. We were very pleased with all of the teachers especially Ms Hicks. She was super sweet. One of his favorites.

My son was always challenged by his homework and projects. He learned so much and also had a love of learning!

My son struggled in elementary school. When he got to middle school he grew so much! There is a lot of academic support for those who have questions on any subject. He was able to maintain straight As through most of his semesters with the occasional high B.

This school brought out the best out of my son. He was very shy and he has really come out of his shell while attending this school. This school does a lot to give students opportunities to take on leadership roles. They have a lot of clubs and extra curricular activities that encourage integrity compassion and respect. One example was the national junior honor society as well as the drama club.

Hmm...I dunno...I think that Ms. Hicks doesn't really respect anyone, but the principal is nice enough to let you use the elevator if you have so much as a sprained ankle. It's a good school guys!

First year of middle school, I loved it. The teachers were nice (except for Ms. Hicks). I was my teachers' favorite student actually. But it is a good school guys, I think it should be at least 7 out of 10.

My daughter attended 8th grade here. I would not recommend this school. If i had to do it all over again, i would not have sent her to this school. There are too many inconsistencies with implementing procedures. Little to no responsive teachers (not all). Some teachers are very responsive.

My son attended this school for a very short period of time. I transferred him because he was an AG student that wasn't being challenged academically. The principal is there to collect a paycheck. She has her favorites for sure. The secretary/receptionist is rude and the teachers with the exception of a few are under qualified. They are more interested in punishing children than teaching. My daughter will NOT attend this school even if it means paying for private middle school education.

Argh! I hate this school! The Secretary is rude! The principal is clueless. And the teachers should seek other options. This is my second year with them and I am getting more and more frustrated. I am seeking other options. Mychilds education is to important to leave it in Wendell Middle Schools hands...

I left Wendell in 12'. Now that I'm in high school I finally realize that Wendell is horrible in preparing students for high school. You can turn in work at anytime and most of all the teachers grade on a curve. The administration doesn't punish the kids hard enough, which means the petty things they do in middle school are huge offenses in High School. Its's a rude awakening when these kids get to high school. Wendell basically sets them up for failure in 9th grade, which is the most important year in high school. I really feel bad for these kids.

Classes offer lots of technology like SMARTboards in every classroom. My child has used a flip camera and other gadgets for learning and he loves it! Discipline can be inconsistent from what I have heard, but my child is happy there. They are starting to do more fun things this year like parent night, club acitivites and pep rallies. They still have to work on more things like this.

This school has gotten some major updates since 2009. We've moved into a new, huge building, with a lot of room. Unfortunately, it's still underfunded. There's 1 textbook for every 3 kids, roughly. It's a great school, but the teachers don't get many opportunities to do much- in fact, the 8th grade is FINALLY getting to go on their first field trip. Nice school, but dealing with funding issues. (Yes, they have lockers, person from 2009.)
