FSCA is one of the best schools I have ever seen. The approach on learning by the educators is superb in that they are patient a willing to work with the students to help them learn in their best way. I wish that I had teachers that cared about me as much as the faculty here. As a parent they are always willing to work with a schedule whether it is for an appointment or what have you. They are also willing to sit down and have a one on one conversation with parents if either the parent or teacher feels that it is needed. I would recommend FSCA to anyone without hesitation. This school has truly been a blessing on our lives.

My son began going to this school after being shoved to the side for two years in public school. Nobody took the time to work with him, challenge him and they were even less inclined to work with me or listen to my ideas on how my son learns. Not here. The staff at Flaming Sword works with him in a nurturing environment where I have seen him flourish socially and academically. I never thought my son would ever be able to answer reading comprehension questions, but he can now. My son is learning fractions! These are things I was lead to believe he wasn't capable of. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude for the dedication the teachers have shown him.

My son has been at the school for over a year in there pre k program my son who will be 5 and going into kindergarten was tough all his basic math reading skills and can already read and write 3_5 word sentences I am extremely please and very thankful for all the staff support. I feel that learning needs to be continued at home as well and they helped me with that. I feel my son has been very successful here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great education and staff for their child. I feel my son has been setup for a great future being at this school.

Flaming Sword Christian Academy is approaching it's 12th year, and operates with the highest level of integrity and commitment to excellence. We are a military family which comes with it's own challenges. This has been my sons first year of school. He entered the PK4 class with speech and developmental delays. It has been a partnership with the goal of his academic success from the beginning. The staff at the school helped our family identify areas of concern in my sons development that we were previously unaware of. They gave our family the confidence and guidance to seek out resources for him. Through the action plan and strategies created by his instructor, his speech and development have increased exponentially since August. He is now ready for Kindergarten. Our son is comprehending and retaining things that we didn't think he would be able to at the age of 4 with delays. We are eternally grateful to the staff of Flaming Sword Christian Academy. I would not dream of having my son anywhere else for his education. We thank God for putting FSCA in our path. I would recommend this school to anyone with a child of school age, and concerns for their educational success.

I was extremely disappointed in the experience we had with this school. My high school student had basically no assignments from April until the end of the school year. Sat all day with nothing to do, was allowed to use electronic devices. Physical Education for highschool students consisted of "recess". Assignments were given with no instruction, just put on board and students told to complete it with no teaching. Did not adhere to the guidelines recommended on the IEP. The main focus of discipline was to threaten students with a paddle. Lower elementary students paddled frequently in an area without cameras for documentation of punishment. In one class the final test was worth 75% of the final grade. No willingness to work with student or teach skills. Students given test far above their ability level and rude remarks written on papers. This does not reflect their philosophy that was advertised on the web site of one to one direct instruction. Many students with special needs in classes left unattended for periods of time. 6th grade student spent time coloring in her color book rather than being engaged in active learning. Teachers certification not in education.

This is my 9 y/o sons 3rd year with Flaming Sword Christian Academy. It is by far the best school around. He is h/f autistic, adhd, and has some aggression issues. The teachers are wonderful, and they are there night and day to help. This year has been his best year yet. We are so fortunate to have this school in this area.

We are new to this school but so far we love it. Small class sizes, great teachers, and alot of electives to choose from. I will say that I wish the elementary class was split up the older and younger grades. The teachers actually respect the students. That is very hard to find, specially in this area!
