A student stabbed 3 different kids at this school in the neck 3 different times, all caught on camera as premeditated malicious attacked in 1 year, and he still came to school and in classes everyday. Its all about who you know in this town with the law and bogus court system, and you can do whatever you want, including hurt children. It happens with adults on kids too and the systems cover it up. This is far from a safe school or community. The education system is NC, which needs no more explanation in the inability to meet educational standards required for our future adults. Camden is a dangerous place to live if you cant buy people off....

The only thing i like about this school is that I see a couple of my friends and I like most of my teachers. But I dont trust them because they believe bad things my dad says to them. the classes are OK not always boring, but there arent really things to do with our school or where we live. other kids are mean and get away with being really bad to other kids and the teachers and the bus drivers. The cops have been called onto our bus a couple times and they come to our school. I hope my mom can get me away from here soon. I want to like school again but that will not happen here

Never have peace of mind that our children are safe at this school or the Camden schools. They do not communicate with parents about your child even when they have been taken from school. Disregard for safety policies and have criminals around kids including at the events. And the sheriffs are no help. Regular dog searches on the campus and threats called in. Rude and ignorant to things they should know and be prepared for. No other schools to choose from in this misogynistic town.

Positives are the small student body size overall. Student teacher ratio is still about 25-1. The neg.s are they dont not offer honor classes to student. The work doesnt seem challenging enough for those students transferring in from honors classes from other schools. The school itself is well maintained. The administration staff is friendly and informative but it can be difficult at times to get a direct answer on certain issues or for them to follow up on issues. Overall the school is ok. The teachers there are quality teachers. Bullying seems to be an ongoing issue at this school despite school intervention.
