My son has attended LearningTogether for 1.5 years now. He attends the PreK program and has an IEP through Wake County. He has had a wonderful experience attending here. They have 13-15 students (about 70% with IEP’s and 40% private pay) per class with 2-3 teachers daily. He is pulled out for Speech, OT, and PT twice weekly and although I haven’t met his therapist face-to-face I have met them through video call/email multiple times. They use ClassDojo and I stay updated and on their activities multiple times a day. They have “Family Partnership Days” where we are given an opportunity to do out of school activities with his teachers, the students and their guardians. My son has developmental delays and has difficulty with emotional regulation, memorizing ABC’s/123’s, and overall has severe sensory issues. The staff has helped him grow in his confidence while also helping ME with tasks/ideas to continue his education/regulation at home. The only complaint I have is that the staff seems to be rotated frequently/teachers leave & new teachers start and it does throw off my son because he does not do well with change. However, any new staff members who join properly introduce themselves to his father & I and seem to make sure we are aware of the changes. The administration team is wonderful and I have grown fantastic relationships with them all. I will be sad to see him leave when he starts Kindergarten, but am happy to know he had such a great PreK experience. I would also highly recommend their summer program as well, he had a blast and not only continued his learning in the summer but had fun doing it.
