Understanding each other is facilitated by explaining why something matters, which is so important for children's learning. This also helps children to feel heard when difficulty arises because it strengthens their own voice and autonomy as well as empathy for each other.

No one is discriminated against here. Bullying is simply not tolerated in the classroom or on the playground. Learning how to articulate feelings and needs helps children express what is bothering them without it leading to bullying.

The structure helps students develop skills they need to succeed at a very young age. They talk responsibility for their work and self-monitor when it is time to take a break or return. This makes lessons fun rather than burdensome and these life skills will last into adulthood.

Students are never told to say I am sorry without understanding why what they did might affect another person in a negative way. They are encouraged to use verbal and nonverbal skills to demonstrate that they want to be hear. For example, rather than interupt someone who is speaking, they touch the person ever so lightly on the shoulder to let the speaker know they would like a turn to talk. This etiquette helps children learn good communication habits young and will be a very valuable life skill that they will take with them into adulthood.

This is the BEST preschool. My child has been here for 2 years and it is amazing. The staff are warm and welcoming. I feel included at all times and my child cannot wait to get to school. The director is caring and the curriculum is amazing.

My daughter has attended this school for one year of preschool. The teachers are amazing, and the classrooms are great. The education my daughter received was top rate. My only complaints are about the administration's communication with parents, the overall daily communication with working parents, and the all dirt playground. My daughter is filthy every day when I pick her up.
