My boys are in high school and in middle school. They both love hope and so do their dad and I. ItÂ’s a very family oriented school that is extremely safe and I feel like my kids are protected while they are there. They have great conflict, resolution. I feel like they really care about the kids, and I love that the education is led by what God wants for their lives. An excellent faith based education. I highly recommend.

Hope Christian School is OK. We do prefer it to the public school, but we are a bit shocked by the 'not so Christian' behavior of the students, especially the kids in sports. There does not seem to be a Christian standard for language or behavior in the sports programs. Hope is actual known for their poor sportsmanship and foul language among the schools they compete against - ask anyone who has played them. The language is truly profane, and we have witnessed too many bullying incidents and racist comments at the school. There is very little physical fighting at the school, which makes us feel like our child is physically safe. They also have armed security, which is reassuring this day in age.
We have been fairly happy with the academics, but there is often way too much homework. We have always said, "Hope may be a Christian school, but it is homework Hell!" It does little good to try to reason with the school on this point. They will not listen. The homework load makes it hard to have a balanced life.
We are not sure we are going to stay at this point. Honestly, the language and behavior was better at the public school our children attended than at Hope. We keep hoping the administration will take action to improve the behavior of the students, but it does not seem likely to change at this point. Our preception is that the teachers are of good character and promote good character among the students to no avail. Unfortunately, a lot of the 'good' kids our child knows are leaving because of the poor Christian witness of the student body.

Amazing school. We transferred from another private Christian school (attached to a mega church) and I am glad we did. My daughter was so far behind after two years at that school. Now I know she will actually be prepared to enter college due to the excellent program Hope offers.

This is an amazing school! Hope provided all three of my children with an excellent Christian education and prepared them really well for college. It has the feel of a smaller school where the teachers and staff know and care about the students, yet large enough to provide socialization among classmates, provide excellent athletic opportunities, and programs such as music and drama as well as a strong academic program. I would highly recommend Hope Christian School to anyone with school-aged children. Their tuition is very reasonable and the teachers are excellent with a very supportive administration as well. All of my children attended elementary school through high school and we are so glad we sent them there.

Really varies by teacher. Some are incredibly effective. Others seem to give busy work.

New Head of School (effective 2017) is excellent, and the heads of operations (Business, Finance, Admissions, Advancement) are all amazing. Campus administration for the most part is also high quality.

Considering itÂ’s a private school, itÂ’s truly very poor. The teachers are trying their best, but administration and board members are becoming rich at families expense. ItÂ’s sad, do not send your kids here

Great academics. Terrible leadership. As I said, I was bullied at this school, teachers and admin did nothing to help combat this; even after it was brought to their attention.

Our family is so thankful for Hope Christian school. We have had two of our children graduate from public schools, and they received an adequate education. We sent the next three to Hope for their high school years and what a difference! We love the fact that this school still has the ability to maintain a moral standard that is conducive to the academic advancement of its students. We have tried public, charter, and private schools. Hope is the best choice for our family's educational needs.

The teachers that teach at Hope truly seemed called to do so. They are loving and encouraging, yet hold the children to a high standard. I live in the best school district in town, yet choose to send my children to Hope Christian. I am confident that this is the best school for my children. Hope however is not the best school for everyone. If you disagree with the Bible and principles taught from the Bible, both you and your child will struggle. Hope has been an absolute blessing to my children.

My children attended the elementary school for two years. I found the teachers kind and caring and overall Hope provides a safe environment. However, if your child has trouble academically, whether it be reading, math or handwriting, they do not try to help the child through their weakness. Instead the parent is left trying to find outside help while the child is frustrated and struggles through the school day. Even first graders are put on academic probation if their grades slip.

My daughter had several pages of homework every week in kindergarten. It included pages of repetitious cursive handwriting and number writing. Since it did not change from week to week, my daughter found it boring and we struggled to complete it.

My son attended Hope Christian school from kindergarten until 11th grade. Unfortunately, he didn't attend his senior year because he was disenrolled the day before his senior year was about to start. He had attended a party where alcohol was served and a parent of another student told them my son was there. The day before school started ( 4:00 p.m.) I was called into the office and he was kicked out for attending that party. WOW, I thought Christians were supposed to be forgiving. Well not at this school. PARENTS BEWARE, your children cannot make a mistake. All that 11 years of tuition wasted.
