Absolutely not do not come to this school I am a former student here and this school did nothing absolutely nothing to stop bullying and harassment I reported it multiple times I even went to aps and even they didnt do anything I was harassed daily by 4 different friend groups and one singular girl made threats against me and I went to the principal and she told me it was my fault for going near her when we had multiple same classes and did nothing to switch them out and then this girl fought me and the principal told me it was my fault again even though I was snuck up on and I never even spoke to this girl or anything

Never come here this is the worst school ever always be stressed about teachers losing work teachers so rude and mean and dont respect you for nothing terrible teaching never learned anything only some good teachers but most yell and dont care about there jobs

I have taught here for a quite a while and I am proud of my school. We love our kids and the community.

This school has a wonderful positive behavior program! Teachers have control of their classes and children are learning.

Truman has worked hard in inproving the its overall atmosphere of being 'cool to be smart'. They have worked had to encourage all students to learn and have a goal in life. Truman is was able to get about 98% of all students to take this years SBA test. We are hoping for a 5th year of students that are proficient in math and reading.

I have worked at this school for 19 years. I love the community! With the support of our families we designed and implemented the first secondary dual language academy in Albuquerque in the year 2000. Our academy serves 300 student and every year we have students on a waiting list. Our students are bright, respectful and hard working learners who believe in giving what it takes to become the best citizens of the 21st century. We are a school wide free lunch Title 1 school and every year we continue to improve academically as reflected in our rising test scores. Please support Truman MS where it is cool to be smart. I went to Truman Middle School for my Middle School and I have honestly not seen such a Middle School since then. It has an amazing staff that are dedicated through and through.

Truman has always been student, parent, and community oriented. They are always finding ways to connect all three in to the activities presented. This includes offering an evening class to assist parents with learning the different concepts the students are learning in class.

Because my son attended all three years there and despite being in a less fortunate area of town, he managed to walk away with a tremendous education. He even tested into a prestigious prep school for his 9th grade year!

Truman strives to give are children the best education and the communication between the students the teachers and parents is what I love the most. I'am very involed in my children education and I could've never done with out the support of the superior teachers we have at truman middle school.
