My son had great years at Valle Vista. The teachers are great and very helpful. When my son got sick the school reached out to see if we needed anything and dropped of his classwork so he won't fall behind. Valle Vista has a great Dual Language program with teacher that at great at what they do.

If only a couple of children in class are being taught and the others ignored that doesnt benefit anybody.

It seems the teachers dont care, they spend more time outside making sure nobody is parking on the side of the street than taking care of teaching. The teachers are rude even to parents and grandparents, but especially to the children. Schools are more like military camps than elementary schools they walk in a line with their hands behind their back and if they talk at all they get yelled at. I spend time in the classroom and my granddaughter raiser her hand to answer her teachers questions and for some reason the teacher will NEVER call on her. Its very frustrating to see.

Valley Vista has a very open and inviting atmosphere. The teachers are terrific! The Vice Principal and Principal are always working to improve the school and put in so many, many long days to make sure everyone is safe and learning! There are options that families may choose. One option is Dual Language, instruction is in Spanish for 50% of the day and in English for 50% of the day. Each family decides if that is a good idea for them. The instruction at Valle Vista is developmentally appropriate and the joy in learning is obvious!
