Unprofessional, I was ghosted in the hiring process. Why would you hire me if you arent even going to try to communicate with me? And trust me? I did try my best to reach out to them MULTIPLE TIMES over the span of two weeks.

I have two children at this school. I like very much that this center is located on the campus of UNM. Every teacher, student helper, staff are warm and kind people. I am conflicted because we were fortunate to have amazing lead teachers, helpers, master teachers while our children were infants but toddler care and preschool were different experiences. Our youngest is now in preschool and I find there is less concern for learning experiences and more about maintenance. I convey to leadership at the Center that it would be great if there could be more emphasis on learning and experiential objectives. Maybe I am expecting too much? I thought being part of the University, the Child Care Center might find a real connection to educational goals. This is not a given.
