Mary Ann Binford Elementary has been an amazing school for my family over the years. I’ve had kids in grades K-5 here, and I’ve seen firsthand how much this school has grown and improved. My youngest is currently in kindergarten, and I’m so impressed by how much he has already learned!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with several administrators over the years, but Principal Nieto is by far my favorite. She has brought incredible energy and leadership to the school, making so many positive changes. The addition of the new makerspace is such an exciting upgrade, and I’ve noticed a clear improvement in academics and test scores under her leadership.

What truly sets the school apart now is its welcoming culture and sense of community. Principal Nieto and the staff have created an environment where families feel valued and included. I can’t recommend Mary Ann Binford Elementary enough for families looking for a school that truly prioritizes their students’ success and well-being!

I could go on for hours why this school is not a good school. #1 being they do not challenge your child. My Son went here and they has him start in a special Ed class. All he did all day was color. Come home with work that was not even done. Yet they said it was not homework. So he would come home with a complete empty packet with nothing done. The things that were particularly done alot of the problems were incorrect but had a star on the top. Like the teacher did not even look at the work and correct it. Just put a star on it. The teachers are un willing to have parent teacher conferences at times that could work with parents that work a 8-5 job. If your child is struggling In any subject do not send to this school they do not offer one on one tutoring and will just put your child in a class mixed with all different grades to color all day. My son is Dyslexic when I asked them to test him for it they told me it's normal for a 7 year old to write numbers and letters backwards. I could go on and on but my experience and nmy son's experience was not at all good.

Very disappointed with this school. There is no communication between parents and the principal. My child was removed from her class in the middle of the school year and has really been struggling. I have to to communicate and the principal, staff and teachers are all well aware, there has even been a meeting with the councilor but there has been no resolution. I cannot begin to express my frustration, seeing my child come home crying, going to sleep crying because they do not want to go to school and the bullying. I do not understand why they forced this on us, and when there is no adjustment from my child, there is no one to answer my concerns or give any kind of resolution. As a school, educators (whose first concern should be the child) they should be ashamed.

The school is overcrowded. Teacher to student ratio is 1 teacher per 30 students in some cases. One of my children has been through three different teachers this year alone due to turn over.

I Dont Like This School.........I mean, i dont see 1st-3rd graders learning to read....They ''rarely'' have bilingual class, if they did, they dont do it good. Would i would reccomend this school is to actually help the students read and have half the day for bilingual, the students wont go far if they dont learn how to read and practice more their language...

I think Mary Ann Binford has a lot to offer. There are wonderful teachers who care about the students and their success. My daughter loves her teacher and she has grown so much since starting there.
