Albuquerque Collegiate Charter School has been a wonderful fit for both of our children. From the start, we’ve been impressed by the school’s strong academic focus and its commitment to helping every student succeed. The teachers and staff are responsive, supportive, and quick to address any issues that come up—whether academic or behavioral—always with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.

What stands out most is the school’s emphasis on measurable academic progress. During parent-teacher conferences, we’re given clear, detailed overviews of how our children are performing across various assessments. These meetings aren't just check-ins—they’re data-driven, transparent conversations that help us understand exactly where our kids are thriving and where they might need more support. It’s reassuring to know that the school is paying close attention to each student’s growth and communicating that progress effectively with families.

Even though Albuquerque Collegiate is a small school, it still provides solid opportunities for physical activity and sports, which our kids have really enjoyed. There’s a sense of community here that encourages participation and helps children feel seen and supported.

There are a couple of areas where we hope to see continued improvement. We’d love to see more enrichment offerings in areas like art, music, and other creative disciplines to help round out the strong academic core. Additionally, the arrival and dismissal process could be better organized, as it can get chaotic at times. Improving logistics in this area would make the daily routine smoother for families and staff alike.

That said, we are very glad we made the decision to transfer from our previous school. The academic structure, strong expectations, and clear communication at Albuquerque Collegiate have made a noticeable difference for our kids. If you're a parent looking for a school that prioritizes learning, fosters growth, and actively partners with families, we strongly recommend considering Albuquerque Collegiate. It’s a school where students are both challenged and cared for—and that combination makes all the difference.

I have two children and both are doing amazing. The school is organized and exciting my expectations as a parent. I feel like my kids are lucky to be part of this school. My kids come home excited about what they are learning in class. Both are dyslexic and the school has provided additional resources to help them learn.
