My experience with this school is not the learning part it's the part that I have been concerned about some stuff I never got a call back. My child was accused of something she didn't do and was suspended. And the I learned that the dean yelled at my child and she didn't think it would affect her mental health. She experienced a panic attack and an anxiety attack. And now my child is scared to go to school.

My daughter went to this school last year for a bit and it seemed to be fine. The new school year started and my daughter was being bullied for weeks I spoke to the principal and so called Dean so many times and they said they would take care of it but it continued, I called APS police and APS I even got into a altercation with one of the bullies parents at that time the school said there was nothing more they could do. This school has it's priorities all wrong and APS need to address bullying a lot more this is a HUGE issue!

John Adams is the worse school. The principal and Vice principal are snobs and very unprofessional. They cater to the Hispanics and the white race. My child was denied food and nothing was done. When she's on her phone texting her father in the hallway she gets disciplined because it's "policy". But it's also policy to feed my daughter but they didn't on her first day so she passed out. Don't bother calling the B.O.E. They hung up on me because they had no answers as well. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL IF THEY ARENT HISPANIC OR WHITE.

Awesome school, my daughter went there in 2005. she is very smart but kind of an under achiever. After three years she decided to test into St. Pius and was accepted, thanks to her preparation at John Adams. The schools in this area get a bad name. If your child wants to learn they will at any school whether it's on the west side or NE Heights.

I come to John Adams and I personally think it is a very good school that cares for it's student's education. Although I wish that it would handle bullies and other negative acts in the school better.

Generally fine teachers, though a few slackers. Principal desn't seem to support or encourage the whole staff. It would improve everything if she did.

John Adams is the worst school I have dealt with. The teachers do not communicate with the parents. They all seem to team up and attack the student instead of helping and coming up with an action plan to better the student. Very unorganized.
