They assign to much work and when I say work I mean homework every night so they spend 7 hours at school and the teachers still expect them to constantly do homework. The lunches also are very rush the kids have 15 minutes to eat. Please change policy to give the kids more time to eat and less homework there making it stressful for our children to succeed

The teachers here assign way too much work and students are stressed out about doing the work. Also there is only a 15 minute lunch and they have to rush to eat. Please make lunch longer so they dont have to rush.

This school was good in terms of schools in NM, but there were many downsides. Classrooms were destructive %50 of the time but nice and quiet the other half, so it was interesting to see if you would learn that day or not. The teachers were in different phases of actually caring about their job, but most were helpful and attentive. The counselors were nice, helpful, and got their jobs done, but I would say they have to go to students to see how they are instead of students coming to them. The special education was amazing, they arranged several activities for them and they also had the right classes for them too. The safety was good most of the time, but there were so many fights that you would be a little worried in the halls. They broke up fights and confiscated drugs quickly, but they needed to stop them from happening in the first place. The families of students were not as knowledgeable as they shouldve been about school events and such. Overall this school is the definition of Mid.

the homophobia at this school is unreal. my daughter gets bullied every other day. my daughter have a fear of going to school because she doesnt know if she will get called slurs or not.

Good school. Teachers are caring and will push the students. Staff is responsive. Plenty of extracurricular activities available.

What impresses me most about Lincoln Middle School is the culture the staff has established: Overall, teachers are quick to seek help/consultation from ancillary providers, counselors, and SEILS when it comes to meeting the socio-emotional [and other 504/IEP-related needs] of their students.
Overall, the staff truly does work effectively as a cohesive team.

Overall, the administrators do a fair job of consulting with the mental health and/or special education staff when considering taking disciplinary action with students.

I think, given all the barriers that exist within America's educational system overall, the special education, mental health, security, and administrative staff (as well as general education staff) do their very best to support students with learning differences. From personal experience, the school culture is such that general ed staff readily seek consultation/advice from the Social Worker and Counselors on how to best meet student needs when those students are on an IEP and/or 504.
(And, honestly, it's impressive!)
Staff also are passionate about advocating for the meeting of the needs of their students, overall.

School "makes an effort" to help children but when it comes time to apply those changes to help we are told they are not accepted for EOC testing. So tell me why I went through everything to get my daughter the help she needs if you won't implement them. Principal is suspend happy. Doesn't look at her own camera in the halls. Suspends off of Instagram!!!! Tells parents "glitch" in her video. No one is there to help your child. They don't look at them as individuals they look at them as trouble and just pass to get them gone. I'm sorry to say this is the reason this state is #49 in education. Our children out your future doctors, politicians and educators. Great job Lincoln...total fail!!!!!

I go here, the school is horrible, bullying and gangs are common, people smoke in the halls and similar things The school is run by 74th hoover crips I love the teachers, but step up man.

Bad school that say i have to say. Also a lot of kids get bulled hurt and some hurt them selves cause they get bulled and threatend.
