My children last year in Pre-K went through 6 substitutes and did not have a permanent teacher 75%of school year. This year in K its been about the same. No consistency. New substitute, the children have to adjust constantly to someone new. This affects their progress and them being confident in their class But Mr. March the principle cares less of your children academic progress.

Starting with the principle who is rude and cares less for your individual student needs. With a new leader this school might be worth a try.

This was a great school and thought your opinion (as a parent) was important when it came to your childs academic future but our opinion does not matter to the principal, Mr. March, who cares less. Because he has the authority, he refuses to take in consideration your childs personal needs. He refuses to meet with you(parent) even upon requesting an appointment with him. Our children have delt with substitutes since last year (pre-k), at least 6 substitutes, which affects our children academic progress. This year (k) they are dealing with the same thing, 30 kids for I substitute and an EA. They have to stop lecturing to deal with other children not following instructions. These girls and us(parents) have had a lot of patience. Our 2 kindergartens have been through all this together and have been supporting each other since nice Pre-K, now they are separated and the principal refuses to even meet with us (parents) to discuss this situation. He is not profesional and has attitude and also intimidates you and of course because he made his decision, he is going to move forward his own words. Even APS says he has the last word on this. I am now looking for a different school for our children. We are not comfortable with our children being around this principal who shows no compassion and consideration for our children needs. With a new principal this school would be a better place to enroll your children.

I HAVE A NICE THAT IS IN PRE-K AT THE MOMENT I LOVE HOW THE SCHOOL IS INVOLVE IN HER EDUCATION, THIS IS A GREAT SCHOOL TO GET YOUR CHILDREN REGISTAR AT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.

I have twins.. they are in PK right now.. The teachers at this school are caring and work with the students and parents. This school is kinda cute, its clean and the staff don't treat you like they know everything. I have given this school 5 Stars and i will continue to take my children to it as long as they are of age. As to this post *Posted August 11, 2009* I'm not sure (also that's at the very beginning of the school year so unorganized is expected)
