I have had now three years of experience with Grant Middle School. My Daughter is in her 8th grade year and she has had tremendous support through out her time here. Teachers have been firm but accommodating, we have had no Issues. The teachers I believe are doing a wonderful job. Our experience with the grant school community has been wonderful. We like to attend family nights, volleyball games, orchestra concerts. Communication between school and parent is also on point.

Today March 3d, on a school trip to Santa Fe the "teachers" boarded the train back leaving 22 STUDENTS ALONE TELLING THEM TO "CATCH THE NEXT ONE". My niece called in hysterics. To make it worse NO ONE ANSWERS AT THE SCHOOL. How tf do you have a field trip after 3:30 and no one at the school. I'll be calling the school board Monday. You should be ashamed

The administration here harbors an atmosphere of mistrust and secrecy. ItÂ’s no wonder there is a teacher shortage at this school. In the time I have spent here, I have seen teachers come and go within a single semester. Subs have told me they will never set foot in this school again after the way they were treated by the administration. The students have no sense of respect and know they can get away with their behavior because the discipline system is weak and inconsistent. I will never regret leaving this place.

This school used to be great but after the old principal retired, it went downhill fast in terms of discipline and behavior. A laughable disciplinary system and inconsistent expectations from the administration have allowed the students to act out with little consequence.

Cannot express in words the negative experience this school has been; from Roney to Flow is as low as you can go. No positive to date, so glad to be leaving!

This school is terrible. The whole school is filthy and the entire student base in incredibly rude. They should start by getting rid of the hundreds of roaches. The discipline system is useless. The overall teaching is good but so little of the students actually care about learning anyways.

Nightmare school please if you can send you student to another school. The experience my son had at this school will hunt him for years to come. Two teachers bullied him another physically assaulted him because he had his jacket/hood on in the building. The principal has no control of his school. One teach called a young man the "N" during class. Anything horrible that could happen in one year did. Please parents don't sent your children here.
