The teachers at the Academy have been inspiring and extremely effective so far in our experience. I feel they understand the type of students they are dealing with and they teach out of the box thinking and use unique methods in their classrooms.

I believe if the students use study halls and their time wisely it is a healthy amount of homework. Of course there is always an exception to that rule occasionally or a certain teacher but overall a fair amount of homework in our experience has been given.

The mission and core values of the school, which hang on the walls are talked about frequently and valued at the school. They are an integral part of the academy experience and each student. respect, responsibility, leadership, pursuit of knowledge, balance, and integrity are what make the DA!!

Where to even begin about the BEST SCHOOL on earth! My child has been attending for several years and it gets better each year. It begins with the excellent direction from the Director Colleen Harsin who is always on top of all situations and has a sincere love and compassion for each of the students.
The DA is a unique academic setting for students interested in pursuing academic excellence but also in need of being surrounded by peers of similar interests.
The staff and faculty understand the unique needs of the students and go out of their way to help them thrive and succeed in all aspects. The small community feel provides support and friendships par excellence!
We are blessed to have found the perfect academic setting for our family!
