I was a student here for one year and all I can say is it is a sick and twisted place that should not be a school for children. Staff has unusual ways of controlling the children especially the girls. Mostly men work here and I can say I as a female never felt safe here for multiple reasons that I will not discuss. Please for your childs sake dont go here.

Both of my children attended this school and graduated from it. Both successfully went on to 4 years of college and are still using the experience gained.
It is a good traditional school which also introduce the children to Bible information.
I highly recommend it to you.

As a former student of the Church Academy it was a no brainer where to place my children for their education also. I love the school, I love the teachers and I love that there is a strong emphasis on teaching the students biblical principles from the Bible. The teachers there have ALL been a huge blessing to our family in and out of school!

I did 13 years and graduated from this school with real world ability. The Learning style is very much learn at your own pace and only really works if the student applies themselves instead of expecting the teacher to do it for them. It prepared me for working and the little college I did was a breeze because I knew how to learn without the need of much help.
The teachers truly care for the students and want to see them succeed, and will try their best to help the students get there. If your looking for a school to just let your kid skate by without really trying then this isnt your school. But if you want somewhere that will challenge them to step up and apply themselves, then this is the best option you could have.

I went to this school since I was in kindergarten to 12th grade. They have great values and really helped me to become the person I am today. They teach students to be responsible and it will help them through their whole life. Highly recommend.

This school is what made my life successful. I was successful in college, business, family, and life. Sure, I'm not the wealthy, but that's not successful. This school teaches you life, not just knowledge, but life.

Homework is given in accordance with the amount a student does in the day. It is like a real word experience for each student.

They honestly care about every kid and will give anything it takes to make sure that they succeed.

I started at The Church Academy when they still had a kindergarten class and was there until I graduated high school. I went to college and was president of the honors society, president of entrepreneurship club, worked on various student government committees, and in the business student council at UNR. I graduated and started my own business. The extremely high standard of character will only produce the best leaders in society.

I went to school here and I don't know a student that didn't benefit from the leadership in this school. Their example is the reason that I own a business, never been in trouble with the law, and have a happy family. Beat that at any other school...honestly, I'm challenging you.

Work at your own pace allows for students with any style leaning to excel in all subjects.

Never had any bullies while I was there.

The content of the school is good, but the people that run the school now are not fiitting it at all. In the sake of Academy the management must be replaced (all four of them) with really Godly people that really love kids, respect their parents and church members, who help them a lot voluntarily.

The teachers at the school are unprofessional, usually non of them have an appropriate education, if any at all. They favor a group of students and publicly put down the slow ones.
Posted: December 2, 2019
More likely that the slow students develope low self-esteem due to being picked on by staff and schoolmates. The favorite students don't show respect to adults that they don't depend on, but admire those who favore them.
Posted: December 2, 2019
The current staff provides a BAD management. The secretary is never at school for parents. They have to come in the middle of school day to find her and pay tuitions or so. The staff blame parents, church members and all others about everything, but never themselves. Someone in previous reviews mentioned that they are not Christians, it seems to be true. They are more pharisees.
Posted: December 2, 2019
Just picking on those that are slow or different, they usually don't get a chance to be better. The privileged students are always praised and awarded.
Posted: December 2, 2019
Many families pulled their children out of school because of this problem. Although the staff strongly denies it.

Homework is designed in a way that if you work hard at school you dont have any, but is easily accomplished when you get it while still learning what is needed.
Posted: August 28, 2018
Always there for you. Even text or call on nights or weekends if needed.
Posted: August 28, 2018
It is designed to help students develop a strong work ethic, kind friendly personality, patriotic, dedicated, and full of knowledge.

Good people with good standards. Definitely commendable
Posted: August 28, 2018
Work at your own pace helps any student go from wherever they are in life to wherever they want to be. Definitely the best in this regard!
Posted: August 28, 2018
Bully? They are not tolerant towards that attitude. Bullies are removed and thrown out of that school fast and usually told to never return.
Posted: August 28, 2018
It is the best thing I could have ever asked for. I went to school there for 13 years (from K yo 12). It helped me in every aspect of life from college to what I do for work now. This school has been a huge blessing for my life and I honestly hope you or your kids get to experience it someday.

Stay far away from this school. They are Christians in name only, and not by their actions. They did NOT do what they said they would and then made excuses about it.
They are not trustworthy which is something a Christian school should be! They really aren't a school, more like a babysitter while your kid does all the school work by themself. They do not want you there if you need very much help! Just be quiet and do all your work and don't bother them much and you can stay in their school. Pretty unbelievable but 100% true!
