We wanted to love this school, but unfortunately the Dean and Principle have made it difficult to do so. Their disregard on how they speak to parents is very concerning. If you request to speak with them, they immediately become agitated, and respond with dismissive , defensive and fabricated reasons as to why they are right before you can even voice fully why you are concerned or what you need clarification on. If you disagree and have questions , their response is "well it makes sense to us, and your child will adjust."

Kids getting hurt on the playground is justified to your child did not disclose the full truth to you as their parent nor was your child able to communicate well with their teacher, and this is why the child's care was delayed though the visible blood on clothing and bruising on nose.

I am very disappointed with the lack of support they provide to younger grades, especially with how the kids are directed to arrive at the after school program. I was told all safety precautions were though of and planned out. They even lock the outside gates up at 3:15, so no one would be able to leave the school instead of attending the afterschool program. But 3:45 and gates wide open not locked.

I hope they can do better. As a parent this is not what I imagined my child would be exposed to.

The students are given homework that not only focuses on academics but also spending family time together which is amazing! For my daughter's homework she must complete a math homework and read but then she is encouraged to be creative and write or play a family game.

They have morning meetings where the students learn about different character traits like integrity and respect and they are held to high standards.

Posted: May 17, 2018

They are so busy with all the stuff that they are mandated to do but they are always thinking of the kids first and they put their needs above what the state shoves in their faces.

This school has so many different teachers that help students who struggle and even when they don't fit a minimum requirement like my daughter they still found a way to make sure she is taken care of.

while I haven't heard of any type of bullying from my daughter she feels safe and welcomed here. She has many friends and says she always has friends to play with.

This school is very family oriented, they have so many different family night events. Also the staff is so caring and they all have been there for so long they really know what theyre doing and help the parents understand different things that are going on and what direction the child is going in. overall this school is great!

They pick on favoritism and race it's sad that a school like this with teachers like them not all teachers are like that but most of them are

Principle just covers teachers backs, doesn't care for nothing his very weak at this position you can't be a principal and cover a teachers back based on false allegations plus he question a cops job is the cop misunderstood his call are you serious you can sit there and say that you can even do your job yet your questioning a cops job just to cover a teachers back from getting fired from failed allegations

Terrible bad leadership teachers need more training on how to deal with kids that have a special need and stop accusing the child for things they do do to their disability

A negative zero! Based on a scale from 1-10. You get where I’m coming from.

Posted: April 5, 2018

They don’t let the kids bring certain work home to get help with!

Posted: April 5, 2018

They are rude and nasty and show favortism to certain students.

Posted: April 5, 2018

No, students are treated differently based on their race!

Posted: April 5, 2018

Principal is weak and let the teschers(females) run over him. Zero backbone!”

Posted: April 5, 2018

Nope, teachers don’t help! Their to busy on their cellphones or putting the hard working students down!

i was very unhappy with my experience at this school. my daughter only attended for kindergarten and one month of first grade. the office staff was rude, the pick up and drop off procedure was dangerous for a 5 year old child, the teachers did not have any idea where my daughter was at with academics... she was starting to follow behind quickly and the teachers were always very busy with the 40+ other students in 1 class. she was not keeping up ( I blame the class sizes) and the staff was not willing to help us, they were dismissive with our concerns and would not respond to emails or class dojo messages. overall I think its a safe school, but I wouldn't suggest any of my friends children attend.

I am so thankful that my son goes to a great school with caring and understanding teachers. My son is learning and happy to be there. If my son is happy he he learns more. The teachers at Sepulveda have given my son more then just a great education, They have taught him qualities that will help him all through his life. I rate this school 5 stars!!!!

We have had all 4 of our children go to or are still at Sepulveda and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are excellent and our children always look forward to school. The principle and vice-principles are friendly, approachable, and sincere. The whole staff cares about the students and it shows. We feel the staff also are first rate educators.

The teachers at Sepulveda are wonderful! They are caring and they are very passionate about what they do. They show lots of concern for all of their students. They are responsive and do not hesitate to show their appreciation for those parents who show an interest in their child's education. I am grateful that all 3 of my girls have had wonderful teachers who prepared them well to move up to the next grade level.

let's just Northern Nevada schools in general suck. Right now my oldest is in 6th grade @ Sepulveda and it shocks me how the teachers behave there. They are just as bad as the kids, they play favorites and promote having a "techer's pet"...disgusting. I can't wait to move back to Idaho...education there by far superior.
