After experiencing two Trebein school years (as a parent), I can say the teachers are wonderful. However, the interdepartmental communication is severely lacking; and organization itself does not seem up to par. I have found the front-line employees to be unprofessional and cold. Department heads seem to be unaware and at times irresponsible. Many in the area will sing high praises of the Beavercreek school district. Personally, after transferring in from one of the top schools in the entire state of Ohio- Trebein itself leaves much to be desired. Diversity is lacking; and the culture suffers because of it.

The teachers encourage parental involvement- reading and math reviews once home. However, they do not push extra work to be taken home with the students.

After experiencing two school years with Trebein- the teachers are the only plus to be had. They seem to pay attention to their students; and they are consistent.

I believe these types of characteristics are more so developed at home and possibly encouraged at school. My child has experienced bullies on the bus, and within the school itself. The teachers have been aware of specific problem students- yet are not (or perhaps unable to be) proactive.
