This has to be the worst school my children have ever attended. the transportation is even worse. Even worse I am never asked for my id when I go to get my children...so anyone could pick them up...this school is just horrible

I felt weird about this school right away. My son's teacher was white and I'm Asian and My husband is white. I don't know but she never looked at me, even if I was smiling and asked a question, she won't look at me but looks at my husband and answers. It was rude. My son was in Kinder and he was acting very strange in the school. I asked the principal if he has ADHD and she laughed and said "No, he doesn't" so I only blamed my parenting. I did everything to try to make him understand the consequences of his actions but nothing works. He was always punished by his teachers and they never gave him a chance. School ignored he was bullied from older kids. It traumatized him that even after 5 years later he talks about it and tears still. I found out about it later when he can explain well. His teacher was yelling at him on the field day and sent him to the nurse's room and I got the call to pick him up. I asked why he is in trouble and those nurses said "We don't know. His teacher just brought him here". They were sorry for us for his teacher not able to explain why he is kicked out of the fun field day. I asked my son and he said "I was playing and then she grabbed me and sent me here. She was yelling". There was nobody else so I took my son home. I asked his teacher what's happened the next day and she said "He was being dangerous to other kids in the bouncer house and won't listen so took him out". He didn't ignore her, he just couldn't hear her, but instead of take him out of the bouncer and explain to him how dangerous it was and give him time out or another chance, she just yelled at him and took his fun away. In his 1st grade we moved and the new school helped us to get help for him and his pediatric doctor diagnosed him as an ADHD. His ADHD was pretty serious he said, and yes the doctor is right, he was dangerous to himself or the others if we don't watch him close. When he started on his medication the same 1st day he was able to talk right, he was able to act calm, and able to focus. This was never happened before. Cox Elementary school field to help my son and ignored many signs of him and gave him too many sad experiences. He still needs to recover from it. Teachers never listen or believed him when he was bullied. I will not recommend this school to any special needs children. This school wants well behaved kids so the teachers will be happy.

Principal's management is terrible. They ignored the bully and ignored to diagnose my son's ADHD and teachers and principal were both don't deserve to be in the chairs for those special needs kids.

They never gave my son to get a chance but only punishments. My son was kicked out of the field day and when I picked him up there was no explanation until the next day when I asked. She was only yelling at him and that's how my son couldn't understand what she was saying.

Homework was OK. It was normal. Kindergarten has only 1 page of the homework or maybe 2.

My son was YES behaved bad and nobody know why even if I asked the principal if my son has ADHD or not, she laughed and said No, so I only blamed my self. Then he was always on the spot and older kids bullied him and chased him around but when my son asked for help, he was the one who got trouble even if there was 3 kids chased him around and punched him. He said they didn't get trouble because my son was the cause.

Later we moved out of Xenia the new school helped us to diagnose him but this school ignored us parents concern and laughed.

The worst schooling I have ever seen! The education level in the work that our kids bring home from their teachers is at least one grade below where they should be at. My second grader is bringing home homework that my first grader did at the beginning of the school year, and now half way through the year our first grader is doing the same things she did at the beginning of the year. We are teaching them multiplication, division and reading comprehension at home to move them out of this horrendous school. If you want your children to be held back in life this is this school for you, but if you're tying to give your children their best chance avoid this school at all costs!
