We have a 1st grader, and so far the online classes have been kindergarten content, but I'm willing to give that a pass since I can imagine its hard to teach to a group of young kids over the internet. It was a little disheartening that the teachers didn't let the students have time to talk to each other in the mornings though. Anyway, first day of in-person schooling is resuming since covid started, and the bus that was supposed to pick us up was at the wrong location, so we started to move toward it (we were approaching from the front of the bus, so the driver had to have seen us) and then the driver just pulls away after having not waited more than 30 seconds. I was completely blown away by this! Anyway, I call the office about 10 mins later to make sure I had the right information on where the pick up location, and they were a bit rude. They referred me to the transportation division (can't recall the exact name) so I called them. The lady there was very rude. One part of me gets it- first day of going back to school, I can imagine theyre pretty busy and I'd hate to bother them with this right now, but this also really sets me back because now I have to make an unplanned trip to take the little one in for what was no fault of my own, and I was hoping the bus driver could return or something because I have to get to work on time myself. So far, haven't loved this district. Unless I see major improvements with the in-person classes, will most likely be looking into private schooling, or something else, next year

My husband and I lived in Milwaukee for 3 years, and their school system is beyond abysmal. When my husband got accepted at Wright State for their Bio-Medical Sciences program, we moved to Ohio (back to for me). He wanted to be around Fairborn, the school system I grew up in, but it wasn't like it used to be. I worked hard for find a reasonably priced rental in Centerville because I loved the area, and boy am I glad I did! The schools here are much better than Fairborn and leaps and bounds better than Milwaukee, by FAR! Aside from being presented in Washington DC for being a 2014 Nationally Accredited School of Character, they have proven it time and time again. They work with you in every aspect of your child's development and really take an interest in their best interests. I wouldn't change them for the world, I am extremely happy with our school!

We moved to Centerville due to my husbands job. The PVN family welcomed us with open arms. The staff made our transition as smooth as possible. Our children received a top notch education. The staff was excellent in giving extra help to any child when needed. The Parents/ families are very involved .We had a wonderful 2 years @ PVN .
