This is a great school. Don't let one persons experience turn you away. Ive known generations of families from Waynesville and they're all wonderful, good hearted people. I've never heard anything bad about the school system until reading the other review on here. Waynesville is a great place to live and raise a family.

The school encourages bullying as it allows students and teachers to mistreat those of different than them.

How sad this school has such a negative spirit but this school left our family with a sour empty feeling! One kid was horribly bullied and the other could not get services from special education department. The principal and other school administrators have no desire to see kids succeed.

When the school year began our children could not breath for all the homework and at times it was so much that 11 p.m before they could finish and go to bed time.

There are SOME wonderful teachers but the good ones are few. Some horrible teachers won't give kids a chance if they are not "born and bred" and been in Waynesville their whole life. They don't like who they consider to be outsiders.

No principal ignores parent emails and phone calls.

We fought with the school one and a half years to get my child tested. They do not want to help differently-abled kids.
