Being a part of a nursing home means the children have weekly opportunities to visit and learn from the residents. It is a great way to connect with those who are different, share love and serve others. Service projects and community activities are also a regular part of the school.

Leadership at this school puts emphasis on problem solving, grace and courtesy from everyone, including the teachers and support staff. When big events, projects, or problems arise everyone is made aware of details and cooperates to get the job done right. Morale among staff is strong and it shows in how they treat each other and the students.

This school is a 10! As a former elementary teacher I have high expectations. This school meets everyone of them. After having horrible experiences with my struggling learner at another area Montessori this school has been an answer to prayer. My child has gone from angry, sad and making slow progress to happy, confident, and excited to go to school everyday. It shows in the explosion of learning that has taken place academically and a happy demeanor. I have my sweet kid back. I wish this school went beyond age six. Teresa Bellman and her staff are amazing.

No homework but nightly reading practice for the Kindergarteners.

There are no timeout chairs, putting children in corners, harsh punishments, or harsh voices. Instead there are many conversations, cooperative role play scenarios, teamwork with the home and grace and time given to children as they grow and learn. All the children are happy, involved in learning and visible progress is seen in academic and social/emotional milestones regularly.

Country Hills is an amazing school. My oldest graduated from CHM and is now in 2nd grade, my middle child is in preK, and youngest will start as soon as she is old enough. I have never seen a group of teachers more caring or more invested in their students than the ones at CHM! If the school went through 12th grade, I would send my kids there, every year! We are so thankful for the amazing education that our children have received. It's truely rewarding to see your children excited to go to school everyday.

My daughter attended kindergarden at CHM and absolutely loved it. The teachers are very warm and caring. You can tell they love kids. The environment is always positive. The kids are all nice and they are good kids and they love going to school. You don't see a lot of the misbehavior that I have seen in other schools. I have never seen a group of over 30 kids all 6 and under so well behaved, happy and engaged in their work! And the curriculum is advanced from what they teach in public schools. My only wish is that this school could be duplicated or kids could attend for higher grades.

My daughter is extremely independent, Country Hills gives her the opportunity to work alone and learn how to work with others successfully. They are helping her soar, she has learned so much in just one year. She is very happy here.
